PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

TP-Link VIGI Intelligent Solar Power Supply System, 60 W Panel with 20.8 Ah Battery (VIGI SP6020) - Local Warranty

The VIGI SP6020 pairs a 60 W, 18 V photovoltaic panel with a 20.8 Ah lithium battery so a camera or a wireless bridge can be sited where there is no mains supply. Three 5.5 mm DC outputs and a 10/100 Mbps RJ45 pass-through feed the equipment, intelligent auxiliary heating extends the usable temperature range, and the whole assembly is IP66 rated and clamps to an 80 to 120 mm pole.

60 W Panel, 20.8 Ah Battery

The photovoltaic panel is rated 60 W at 18 V and measures 690 x 516 x 30 mm. The battery is lithium, 20.8 Ah at 10.8 V with a maximum output voltage of 12.6 V, rated for more than 500 cycles and measuring 242 x 70 x 55 mm. That battery figure is what separates this unit from the SP6030 in the same family: the panel is the same 60 W on both, and only the stored capacity differs.

Intelligent Auxiliary Heating

An intelligent auxiliary heat function widens the battery's working window. TP-Link publishes a charging condition of 0 to 45 C, or -30 to 45 C with intelligent auxiliary heating, and a discharging condition of -20 to 60 C, or -30 to 60 C with intelligent auxiliary heating. The published overall operating temperature is -30 to 60 C with intelligent auxiliary heating, and operating humidity is 10% to 90% RH non-condensing. TP-Link notes the heater only engages when the photovoltaic system has a certain input or the battery holds a certain amount of power.

Published Runtime on Consecutive Rainy Days

TP-Link publishes two worked configurations for this model. With one VIGI C540-4G attached, it quotes 4.3 days of working hours on consecutive rainy days and an on-load charge of 1.8 days on sunny days. With one VIGI C345 plus one EAP115-Bridge KIT, it quotes 2.4 days on consecutive rainy days and an on-load charge of 2.7 days on sunny days. These are simulation figures, not guarantees, and TP-Link's own caveat about them is reproduced in the datasheet section below.

Three DC Outputs and Ethernet Pass-Through

Interfaces are one 10/100 Mbps RJ45, one photovoltaic panel connector and three 5.5 mm DC power plugs. TP-Link publishes the plug ratings as 9 V to 12.6 V DC at 2 A on plugs 1 and 2, and 12 V DC at 2 A on plug 3. Four blue indicator LEDs report system, LAN, photovoltaic and battery state. Check your camera's published power draw against those plug ratings before ordering, and note that no camera or EAP equipment ships with this unit.

IP66 Pole-Mount Build

Certification published for the SP6020 is CB and PSE for the battery, plus CE, FCC, VCCI, IC and IP66. Manual angle adjustment is stepped at 5, 15, 25, 35, 45 and 55 degrees so the panel can be set for the site. The compatible pole diameter is 80 to 120 mm, roughly 3.1 to 4.7 in. Product weight is 13 kg and package weight 14.5 kg, shipping in a 800 x 615 x 225 mm carton, so plan for a two-person install at height.

Ideal For

Singapore sites with no practical mains run: construction and worksite perimeters, jetties and marine yards, remote gates and car parks, temporary event coverage, and utility or plant nursery installations where a VIGI camera or a wireless bridge has to stand alone on a pole. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and project pricing on request.

Published Footnotes

TP-Link publishes the following caveats for this model: "The data is based on TP-Link laboratory and public meteorological data obtained through model simulation. It only serves as a reference for network selection. Actual data may vary due to regional disparities, seasonal climate conditions, equipment power consumption, solar panel installation angles, and other factors."; "The auxiliary heat will only be turned on when the photovoltaic system has a certain input or the battery has a certain amount of power."; and "The actual shipped product doesn't include camera and EAP equipment."

TP-Link does not publish a storage temperature, a storage humidity, a panel cell technology, a total continuous output wattage, a charge time or a mounting-bracket material for the SP6020, so none of those is quoted here. It also publishes no separate maximum system output figure beyond the per-plug ratings above.

Compatibility & Software Support
VIGI Cameras Powered from the 5.5 mm DC plugs within the published 9 V to 12.6 V DC / 2 A and 12 V DC / 2 A ratings. TP-Link's own worked examples use the VIGI C540-4G and the VIGI C345
TP-Link Wireless Bridges TP-Link's second published configuration pairs a VIGI C345 with an EAP115-Bridge KIT on this unit
Network Pass-Through 1x 10/100 Mbps RJ45
PoE Output Not published — TP-Link lists DC power plugs only for this model, so do not assume a PoE camera can be powered directly
Equipment Included None. TP-Link states the shipped product does not include camera or EAP equipment
Management Software Not published for this model. TP-Link lists no VIGI app, VIGI Security Manager, VIGI VMS or Omada controller support for the SP6020, and none is claimed here

Sibling VIGI products publish app or controller management. TP-Link publishes no such capability for the SP6020, so if remote monitoring of battery state matters to your project, raise it with us before ordering rather than assuming it.

Frequently Asked Questions — VIGI SP6020

How is the SP6020 different from the SP6030?

The panel is the same on both, 60 W at 18 V. The difference TP-Link publishes is stored capacity: the SP6020 carries a 20.8 Ah battery, and the SP6030 a larger one. The SP6020's published runtime figures are therefore shorter, and both units are listed separately here with their own numbers.

How long will it run a camera without sun?

TP-Link's published simulation gives 4.3 days on consecutive rainy days with one VIGI C540-4G, and 2.4 days with a VIGI C345 plus an EAP115-Bridge KIT. TP-Link states those are model-simulation figures that vary with region, season, equipment draw and panel angle.

Can it power a PoE camera?

TP-Link publishes three 5.5 mm DC power plugs and one RJ45 data port for this model, and does not publish a PoE output. Send us your camera model and we will check its published power input before you order.

What do I need to mount it?

Mounting accessories and waterproof cable attachments are in the box, and the clamp fits a pole of 80 to 120 mm diameter. The unit weighs 13 kg with a 14.5 kg shipping weight, so plan the fixing and the lift accordingly.

What warranty does SourceIT provide?

Local Singapore warranty with a GST invoice on every order. TP-Link's published replacement-warranty schedule does not name the VIGI solar power supply system, and it carries a 3-year default, a 1-year solar-panel tier and a 6-month internal-battery tier, so rather than guess we ask you to confirm the term with us before ordering.
