PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link VIGI 3MP Outdoor Full-Color Bullet Network Camera, 6 mm Lens (VIGI C330) - 3 Years Local Warranty
The VIGI C330 records 2304x1296 at up to 25 fps and keeps colour after dark using two white LEDs alongside two IR LEDs, both reaching 30 m. The IP67 plastic body suits exposed Singapore mounting, and human and vehicle classification runs on the camera. This is the 6 mm long-reach version, which identifies a face to 10 m. It is a PoE camera with no on-board card slot, so it needs a recorder.
Full-Colour Night Vision, Not Just Infrared
Two 850 nm IR LEDs give monochrome vision to 30 m, and two white LEDs give full-colour vision to the same distance. Illuminator behaviour is set to auto, scheduled, always on or always off, so the white light can be reserved for alarm events instead of burning all night. Minimum illumination is 0.005 Lux, falling to 0 Lux with either illuminator active, and white-light flashing is one of the two published alarm linkages on this model.
6 mm Long-Reach Coverage
The fixed 6 mm F1.6 lens gives a 55.1 degree horizontal, 30.2 degree vertical and 64 degree diagonal field of view — the narrowest of the three C330 lens options. DORI distances at 6 mm are detect 100 m, observe 41 m, recognise 20 m and identify 10 m. Choose this lens for long driveways, fence lines, car park aisles and approach roads where you need to tell people apart at distance. The 2.8 mm and 4 mm versions trade that reach for width.
3MP Recording and DWDR
Maximum resolution is 2304x1296, with 2048x1280, 1920x1080 and 1280x720 also available, at 1, 5, 10, 15, 20 or 25 fps. Main-stream encoding is H.265+, H.265, H.264+ or H.264 at 256 Kbps to 4 Mbps; the sub-stream runs H.265 or H.264 at 64 Kbps to 512 Kbps. Note that TP-Link publishes DWDR on this model and not a 120 dB WDR figure — if you need true 120 dB WDR for a backlit doorway, look at the C345 or C385 instead.
Smart Detection With Push Alerts
Smart events cover human and vehicle classification, area intrusion, line crossing, people detection, vehicle detection, region entering and exiting, object abandoned and object removal. Basic events cover motion detection, video tampering and illegal login. TP-Link publishes only two alarm linkages here — white light flashing and message push — and does not publish loitering, abnormal sound or scene change detection for this model, nor the attribute-search feature found on the C345 and C385.
IP67 Housing, PoE Powered, Recorder Required
The 174 x 78 x 71 mm plastic housing is IP67 rated and rated for -30 to 60 C, and waterproof cable attachments are in the box. One RJ-45 10/100 Mbps port carries 802.3af/at class 0 PoE at up to 6 W, or the camera runs from 12 V DC at up to 5.5 W — notably frugal. TP-Link publishes on-board storage as N/A on this model, so there is no microSD slot: plan on a VIGI or ONVIF recorder for retention. Manual adjustment is pan and tilt, each -90 to 90 degrees.
Ideal For
Singapore fence lines, long driveways, car park aisles and perimeter approaches where reach matters more than width, on sites that already have a VIGI or ONVIF recorder to hold the footage. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and project pricing on request.

Published Footnotes
TP-Link publishes the following caveats for this model: calculations are based on laboratory testing using a 3MP VIGI camera, and actual performance may vary according to the amount of activity recorded, resolution and other variables; and if the image rotation is set to 90 degrees or 270 degrees, the frame rate only supports up to 20 fps.
TP-Link does not publish the following rows for this model, so none are quoted here: on-board storage or microSD capacity, reset button, alarm in/out, two-way audio, built-in speaker, a numeric WDR figure, loitering detection, abnormal sound detection, scene change detection, attribute search, VIGI VMS client support, and a rotation range for manual angle adjustment.
Compatibility & Software Support
| VIGI Network Video Recorders | Full support — required in practice, since this model has no card slot of its own |
| Third-Party NVRs and VMS | Supported via ONVIF Profile S |
| Power | 802.3af/at PoE from a VIGI PoE recorder or any PoE switch, or a 12 V DC adapter |
| VIGI App | Supported on Android and iOS |
| VIGI Security Manager | Supported. VIGI VMS is not named in TP-Link's published client list for this model |
| Standalone Use | Not supported for recording — no on-board microSD slot is published, so footage must go to a recorder |
| Licensing | No per-camera or per-channel licence fee |
| Omada SDN Controller | Not applicable — VIGI is TP-Link's surveillance line and is managed through VIGI tools, not an Omada controller |

Frequently Asked Questions — VIGI C330 (6 mm)
Which lens should I choose?
6 mm is the narrowest and longest-reaching C330, 55.1 degrees horizontal, and identifies a face to about 10 m. The 4 mm widens to 89.1 degrees and identifies to 7 m; the 2.8 mm widens to 107.5 degrees and identifies to 5 m. Pick by the distance at which you need to tell people apart, not by the area you want in frame.
Can it record without an NVR?
No. TP-Link publishes on-board storage as N/A for the C330, so there is no microSD slot. Pair it with a VIGI network video recorder or a third-party ONVIF recorder. If you want a camera that records to its own card, the C345 takes a microSD card up to 512 GB.
Does it really record in colour at night?
Yes. Two white LEDs light the scene to 30 m for full-colour footage, and two 850 nm IR LEDs cover the same distance in monochrome if you prefer the light off. The mode can be scheduled or left on auto.
Does it have two-way audio?
No. TP-Link publishes a built-in microphone that records within a 5 m radius, but audio output, a built-in speaker and two-way audio are all listed as N/A on this model. The C345 and C385 publish two-way audio if you need to talk back.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
Three years local Singapore warranty, with a GST invoice on every order.
