The VIGI C330 records 2304x1296 at up to 25 fps and holds colour after dark using two white LEDs alongside two IR LEDs, both reaching 30 m. The IP67 plastic housing suits exposed Singapore mountings. This is the 4 mm lens variant, which gives a narrower, longer view than the 2.8 mm and a wider one than the 6 mm. It is a PoE camera with no card slot, so it records to a VIGI NVR.

3MP Full-Colour Video at 2304x1296

The 1/2.8-inch progressive scan CMOS sensor delivers 2304x1296 on the main stream at 1, 5, 10, 15, 20 or 25 fps, with 2048x1280, 1920x1080 and 1280x720 also selectable. Minimum illumination is 0.005 lux at F1.6 in colour, and 0 lux with the IR or white light active. Compression is H.265+, H.265, H.264+ or H.264 on the main stream at 256 Kbps to 4 Mbps. TP-Link publishes the same resolution list for the sub-stream as for the main stream, which is unusual; both are reproduced here as published.

Two White LEDs and Two IR LEDs, Both to 30 m

Night coverage runs two ways on this model. Two 850 nm IR LEDs reach 30 m for covert monochrome capture, and two white LEDs reach 30 m for full-colour capture. Illuminator control can be set to auto, scheduled, always on or always off, so a carpark ramp can stay lit while a rear boundary stays dark. Day and night switching runs on a mechanical IR cut filter with unified, scheduled or auto modes. Image handling includes DWDR, 3D DNR, BLC, HLC and SmartIR.

What the 4 mm Lens Covers

On the 4 mm variant TP-Link publishes a field of view of 89.1 degrees horizontal, 45.1 degrees vertical and 106.9 degrees diagonal, on an F1.6 fixed focal lens with an M12 mount. Published DORI distances are detect 70 m, observe 29 m, recognise 14 m and identify 7 m. Manual angle adjustment is minus 90 to 90 degrees on both pan and tilt. The C330 is also sold in 2.8 mm and 6 mm; ask us if a wider or a longer view suits the position better.

Outdoor Build, PoE Power and Singapore Conditions

The housing is rated IP67 and is specified for minus 30 to 60 degrees C at up to 95 percent non-condensing humidity, which covers the full Singapore range with margin. Power is either 802.3af/at PoE at a maximum of 6 W, or 12 V DC plus or minus 5 percent at a maximum of 5.5 W through a 5.5 mm coaxial plug. The network port is a single self-adaptive 10/100M RJ45 with PoE. Net weight is 0.26 kg and the body measures 174 x 78 x 71 mm.

Smart Detection, and No Card Slot

Smart events include human and vehicle classification, area intrusion, line-crossing, people and vehicle detection, region entry and exit, and abandoned or removed object. Basic events cover motion detection, video tampering and illegal login, with white light flashing and message push as linkages. Note that TP-Link publishes on-board storage as N/A for this model: there is no microSD slot, so footage is recorded to a VIGI NVR or a VIGI Security Manager host. Plan the recorder into the order.

Ideal For

Singapore shopfronts, carparks, loading bays, worksite boundaries and condominium perimeters that need colour at night on a PoE run, where an NVR is already in place or being bought alongside.
