TP-Link VIGI 2MP IR Turret Network Camera (VIGI C420I 2.8mm) - 3 Years Local Warranty
The TP-Link VIGI C420I is a 2MP turret network camera with a 2.8 mm fixed lens, 30 m IR night vision, human and vehicle classification and a built-in microphone. It is powered over PoE and records to a VIGI NVR, with management through the VIGI app and VIGI Security Manager.
2MP Full HD with Smart IR
A 1/3" progressive scan CMOS sensor records at up to 1920 x 1080. One 850 nm IR LED gives a stated IR range of 30 m, supported by Smart IR, DWDR and 3D DNR.
2.8 mm Fixed Lens
The 2.8 mm lens is the wider of the two C420I versions (88.2° horizontal), suited to offices, shops, lobbies and meeting rooms.
Human & Vehicle Classification and Corridor Mode
On-camera analytics separate people and vehicles from other movement, with intrusion, line-crossing, region entering/exiting, object abandoned/removal and abnormal sound detection. Corridor mode rotates the image from 16:9 to 9:16 for long, narrow areas.
Single-Cable PoE Installation
The C420I is powered only by 802.3af/at PoE (max. 5.5 W); TP-Link lists no DC power port. One RJ45 cable carries both data and power.
Ideal For
Indoor coverage in offices, retail shops, clinics, reception areas and corridors, recording to a VIGI NVR and managed through the VIGI app or VIGI Security Manager. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty and GST invoice.

Can the VIGI C420I be installed outdoors?
TP-Link lists the Protection rating as N/A and publishes no IP weatherproof rating for the C420I, so it is best treated as an indoor camera. For outdoor positions, consider an IP67-rated VIGI model.
How is the C420I powered?
Over PoE only (802.3af/at, class 0, max. 5.5 W). TP-Link lists no DC power port, so a PoE switch or PoE injector is required.
How far can it see at night?
TP-Link states an IR range of 30 m. For the 2.8 mm lens, the published detect distance is 45 m (149 ft) and the identify distance is 5 m (15 ft).
Does it record audio?
Yes. TP-Link lists a built-in microphone that records within a 5 m (16.4 ft) radius. There is no built-in speaker, so two-way audio is not supported.
