TP-Link Tapo Video Doorbell Camera (TD25) - 1 Year Local Warranty
The Tapo TD25 is a 2K 5MP (2560 x 1920) video doorbell with a 10000 mAh built-in rechargeable battery, the option to hardwire it for continuous power, and a plug-in Tapo Chime in the box. It gives a tall head-to-toe view of the doorstep, detects people, pets, vehicles and packages, and records to a microSD card of up to 512 GB without a subscription.
2K 5MP, Head-to-Toe View
TP-Link rates the TD25 at 2K 5MP, above Full HD, with a 180° diagonal field of view; the specification table gives 170.6° horizontal and 140.1° vertical through a 1.18mm F1.8 lens on a 1/2.7-inch sensor. The tall 4:3 frame shows a visitor from head to toe and a parcel at their feet, with 3DNR and WDR image enhancement.
10000 mAh Battery or Hardwire
The 10000 mAh lithium-ion battery lets the doorbell go wire-free; hardwired, it supports continuous 24/7 recording. TP-Link notes battery life includes recording and live viewing and varies with settings, usage, router and environment. Horizontal and vertical wedges are supplied to adjust the view.
Chime Included, AI Alerts Without a Subscription
The indoor Tapo Chime offers a choice of ringtones. Smart AI identifies people, pets, vehicles and packages, and Activity Zones notify you only when something happens in the areas you choose. Video saves to a microSD card up to 512 GB (purchased separately) or to Tapo Care cloud storage by subscription.
Night Vision, Two-Way Audio and Anti-Theft
Night vision reaches 10 m with 850 nm IR, and built-in spotlights allow full-colour night vision. Reply to visitors with voice-changer two-way audio or a recorded quick response from the Tapo app. The anti-theft alarm alerts you if someone tries to take the doorbell off, and the housing is IP66 rated. It works with Alexa and Google Assistant on supported displays.
