TP-Link Tapo Smart Wi-Fi Spotlight, Multicolor, Dimmable
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link Tapo Smart Wi-Fi Spotlight, Multicolor (Tapo L630) - 1 Year Local Warranty
The Tapo L630 is the colour GU10 spotlight in the Tapo range: 3.7 W producing 350 lumens through a 40-degree beam, tunable from 2,200 K to 6,500 K with 16 million colours, dimmable 1 to 100 per cent from the app or by voice, and joining 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi directly with no hub.
A 40-Degree Beam for Downlights, With Colour
The L630 concentrates 350 lumens into a 40-degree cone — the behaviour you want from a ceiling downlight, a track head or a display spot — and adds the full colour range on top. TP-Link rates it as a 50 W halogen equivalent, so it replaces the GU10 halogens already in most Singapore ceiling fittings while giving the fitting scene and accent capability it never had.
2,200 K to 6,500 K Tunable White, 16 Million Colours
The white range starts warmer than the L610's fixed 2,700 K, going down to a 2,200 K amber for evenings, and up to 6,500 K daylight for task and retail lighting. Colour covers 16 million hues for accent and display work. Colour rendering index is ≥80, warm-up is one second or less to 95 per cent output, colour consistency is rated under 6 SDCM, and the lamp is rated for 15,000 hours and 15,000 switching cycles.
Smart Dimming on a Plain On/Off Switch
Dimming runs the full 1 to 100 per cent range and is handled in the app or by voice, so a downlight circuit needs no dimmer module, no neutral run and no electrician — an ordinary on/off switch is enough. Countdown timers and repeating schedules run from the Tapo app, and Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant are supported for spoken control of power, brightness and colour. Standby draw is 0.2 W.
Standard GU10 Fitting, 55 g, Rated 0-40 °C
The L630 is an ordinary GU10 twist-lock lamp at D50 x 55.2 mm and 55 g including packaging, running on 220-240 V at 50/60 Hz, so it drops straight into existing GU10 downlights and track heads. It is rated for 0 to 40 °C and 10 to 90 per cent non-condensing humidity, carries CE, ERP, RoHS and RCM marking, and sits in energy class E at 4 kWh per 1,000 hours.
Ideal For
Retail and F&B display lighting, feature walls and accent spots at home, studios and photo corners, and any GU10 downlight or track fitting where colour and tunable white earn their place. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty and GST invoice.

Frequently Asked Questions — Tapo L630
What is the difference between the L630 and the L610?
Both are 350-lumen GU10 spotlights with a 40-degree beam. The L610 is fixed warm white at 2,700 K and draws 2.9 W; the L630 adds tunable white from 2,200 K to 6,500 K and 16 million colours at 3.7 W.
Do I need a hub?
No. The spotlight connects directly to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and is controlled from the Tapo app. There is no hub or bridge to buy.
Will it fit my downlights?
It fits standard GU10 twist-lock fittings at D50 x 55.2 mm. MR16 fittings, which use two pins and usually a 12 V transformer, are a different base and will not take it.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
