TP-Link Tapo Smart Wi-Fi Spotlight, Dimmable
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link Tapo Smart Wi-Fi Spotlight, Dimmable (Tapo L610) - 1 Year Local Warranty
The Tapo L610 is the GU10 spotlight in the Tapo lighting range: 2.9 W drawing 350 lumens of warm 2,700 K light through a tight 40-degree beam, dimmable 1 to 100 per cent from the app or by voice, and joining 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi directly with no hub. It is the model for downlights and track fittings rather than table lamps.
A 40-Degree Beam Built for Downlights and Track
The L610 concentrates 350 lumens into a 40-degree cone — the behaviour you want from a ceiling downlight, a track head or a display spot, where the point is to light a surface rather than fill a room. TP-Link rates it as a 50 W halogen equivalent, so it is a direct replacement for the GU10 halogens already in most Singapore ceiling fittings.
Smart Dimming on a Plain On/Off Switch
Dimming covers the full 1 to 100 per cent range and is done in the app or by voice — TP-Link is explicit that the L610 is not controlled by a wall dimmer. That is the advantage on a downlight circuit: you get smooth dimming without replacing the switch, running a neutral or fitting a dimmer module, on fittings that are often awkward to rewire. Warm-up is one second or less and the lamp is rated for 15,000 hours and 15,000 switching cycles.
Direct Wi-Fi, No Hub and No Bridge to Buy
The spotlight joins your existing 2.4 GHz network over IEEE 802.11b/g/n and talks to the Tapo app directly, so there is no hub, gateway or proprietary bridge in the chain. Countdown timers, repeating schedules and sunrise and sunset modes all run from the app, and Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant are supported for spoken on, off and brightness control. Standby draw is 0.2 W.
Standard GU10 Fitting, 51 g, Rated 0-40 °C
The L610 is an ordinary GU10 twist-lock lamp at D50 x 55.2 mm and 51 g including packaging, running on 220-240 V at 50/60 Hz, so it drops straight into existing GU10 downlights and track heads. It is rated for 0 to 40 °C and 10 to 90 per cent non-condensing humidity, and carries CE, ERP, RoHS and RCM marking. Weighted energy consumption is 3 kWh per 1,000 hours, energy class D.
Ideal For
Ceiling downlights, track lighting, display and accent lighting in homes, retail and F&B, and anyone who wants dimmable smart control on GU10 fittings without touching the wiring. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty and GST invoice.

Frequently Asked Questions — Tapo L610
What is the difference between the L610 and the L630?
Both are 350-lumen GU10 spotlights with a 40-degree beam. The L610 is fixed warm white at 2,700 K; the L630 adds tunable white from 2,200 K to 6,500 K and 16 million colours, at 3.7 W instead of 2.9 W.
Can I use it with my existing wall dimmer?
No. Dimming is done in the Tapo app or by voice. The spotlight should be fitted on a normal on/off switch, left on so the lamp stays reachable.
Will it fit my downlights?
It fits standard GU10 twist-lock fittings at D50 x 55.2 mm. MR16 fittings, which use two pins and usually a 12 V transformer, are a different base and will not take it.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
One year local Singapore warranty, in line with TP-Link's replacement warranty policy for smart spotlights. Every unit sold by SourceIT comes with a GST invoice.
Can SourceIT quote this in volume?
Yes. Send the quantity and we will quote the L610 in singles or multipacks, together with the rest of the Tapo range.
