PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

TP-Link Tapo Smart Wi-Fi Light Strip, Multicolor (L930-10) - 2 Years Local Warranty

The Tapo L930-10 is the ten-metre RGBW strip: two 5 m reels on one controller carrying 300 RGB and 300 white LEDs, rated at 2,000 lumens with a 2,500–6,500 K white range and a colour rendering index above 80. It cuts to length, dims 1% to 100%, and joins 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi with no hub required.

600 LEDs Across Ten Metres — 300 RGB Plus 300 White

TP-Link publishes the bead count explicitly: 300 RGB LEDs and 300 white LEDs, an RGBW arrangement rather than an RGB strip pretending to make white. Nominal luminous flux is 2,000 lm, which TP-Link also expresses as 200 lm per metre — a figure worth holding onto if you intend to trim the run, since output scales with the length you keep. Warm-up time is under one second.

A Real White Range: 2,500–6,500 K at CRI Above 80

The white channel tunes from 2,500 K to 6,500 K, which spans candle-warm evening light through to daylight-neutral, and TP-Link rates colour rendering above 80. That combination is what makes the L930-10 usable as working light over a kitchen run or a study shelf rather than decoration alone: colours under it look broadly as they should, and the temperature can be matched to the rest of the room's lighting instead of fighting it.

Ten Metres on One Controller and One Socket

Both 5 m reels run from a single controller and a single adapter accepting 100–240 V AC at 50/60 Hz and supplying 12 V DC at 2.0 A. Energy consumption at full output is 24 W, and standby draw is 0.4 W. One power point therefore covers a whole room perimeter, a staircase or a long kitchen soffit — and the strip appears once in the Tapo app rather than as two devices to keep in step.

Cut to Length, Stick Down, Dim to 1%

Each reel is trimmed at its marked cut points and fixed with the 3M adhesive already on the back, with a separate 3M pad supplied for the controller. Dimming covers the full 1%–100% range and, as with the rest of the Tapo strip line, TP-Link notes that dimming and colour changing are performed via the app and cloud only. Trimmed sections cannot be re-used, so plan the route before cutting.

Rated for Long Service and Widely Certified

TP-Link rates the strip lifetime at 25,000 hours and lists certifications of CE, FCC, IC, JRF, VCCI, RCM, NCC, BSMI and RoHS. The operating range is -15 ºC to 40 ºC (5 °F to 104 °F) at 10%–90% RH, non-condensing. Each strip measures 5000 x 10 x 3.0 mm and the shipped weight is 806–891 g.

Ideal For

Whole-room cove lighting, long kitchen and staircase runs, media walls and gaming rooms in Singapore that need tunable white as well as colour. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty and GST invoice.

Figures above are taken from TP-Link's own V1.30 specification table for the L930-10. TP-Link does not currently publish a Singapore product page for this model, so the United Kingdom page — which carries the same 100–240 V input as the unit supplied here — is the source. TP-Link publishes no IP rating for the L930-10, so none is claimed.

Frequently Asked Questions — L930-10

What is the difference between the L930-10 and the L930-5?

Length and published detail. The L930-10 ships two 5 m reels on one controller with a 12 V 2.0 A adapter, 600 LED beads, 2,000 lm output and a 2,500–6,500 K white range. The L930-5 is a single 5 m reel rated 13 W; TP-Link publishes no bead count or colour-temperature figure for it.

Is the white light tunable?

Yes. TP-Link specifies a colour temperature range of 2,500–6,500 K with a colour rendering index above 80.

Does it need a Tapo hub?

No. It connects directly to a secured 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network over IEEE 802.11 b/g/n.

Will output drop if I cut the strip?

Proportionally, yes. TP-Link expresses the 2,000 lm rating as 200 lm per metre, so a shortened run produces correspondingly less light.

What warranty does SourceIT provide?

Two years local Singapore replacement warranty, the term TP-Link publishes for its Smart Light Strip category. Every L930-10 sold by SourceIT comes with a GST invoice.

Is stock held locally?

SourceIT holds fast-moving Tapo lines in Singapore. Anything not in local stock is brought in on indent — ask us for the current lead time before committing to a date.

Can SourceIT quote this in volume?

Yes. Send the quantity and the mix of models and we will quote the whole Tapo build — strips, plugs, bulbs, sensors and cameras — with local warranty and support.
