TP-Link Tapo Smart Wi-Fi Light Bulb, Multicolor (Tapo L530E) - 1 Year Local Warranty
The Tapo L530E is the colour member of the Tapo bulb range: an 8.7 W E27 lamp with the same 806-lumen output as the white-only L510E, but tunable from 2,500 K to 6,500 K and capable of 16 million hues. It connects directly to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi with no hub, and dims from 1 to 100 per cent from the app or by voice.
Tunable White From 2,500 K to 6,500 K
The most useful part of the L530E for daily use is not the colour wheel but the white range. At 2,500 K it is warmer than a standard warm-white bulb, suiting late evenings; at 6,500 K it is daylight-cool for reading, kitchen work or a desk. One bulb therefore covers what would otherwise be two fittings, and the Tapo app can move it along that range on a schedule so a room warms up as the evening goes on.
16 Million Colours at 806 Lumens
Colour output spans 16,000,000 hues across a 220-degree beam angle, at the same 806-lumen maximum brightness as the white-only model — so choosing colour does not cost you light. Dimming runs the full 1 to 100 per cent range and is handled inside the bulb, meaning a plain on/off wall switch is all the circuit needs. Colour rendering index is ≥80, warm-up time is one second or less, and the bulb is rated for 15,000 hours and 15,000 switching cycles.
Direct Wi-Fi, No Hub and No Bridge to Buy
The bulb joins your existing 2.4 GHz network over IEEE 802.11b/g/n and talks to the Tapo app directly, so there is no hub, gateway or proprietary bridge in the chain. Timers, repeating schedules and an away mode all run from the app, and Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant are supported for spoken control of power, brightness and colour.
Standard E27 Fitting, Straight Swap for an Existing Bulb
The L530E is an ordinary E27 screw-base lamp at 115 x 60 mm, running on 220-240 V at 50/60 Hz and drawing 73 mA, so it drops into the fittings already in most Singapore homes and offices without an adapter. Weighted energy consumption is 8.7 kWh per 1,000 hours. The bulb carries CE and RoHS marking.

What is the difference between the L530E and the L510E?
Both are 8.7 W E27 bulbs at 806 lumens. The L510E is fixed warm white at 2,700 K with dimming only; the L530E adds tunable white from 2,500 K to 6,500 K and 16 million colours.
Do I need a hub?
No. The bulb connects directly to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and is controlled from the Tapo app. There is no hub or bridge to buy.
Can it wake me up gradually?
