TP-Link Tapo T110 Smart Contact Sensor
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link Tapo Smart Contact Sensor (T110) - 1 Year Local Warranty
The Tapo T110 is a two-part magnetic contact sensor that tells your Tapo system whether a door, window, cupboard or gate is open or shut. It reports to a Tapo hub on a sub-1 GHz radio, runs on a single CR2032 cell and mounts with the supplied 3M adhesive, so nothing is drilled and nothing is wired. A Tapo hub is required.
Open and Closed, Reported the Moment It Changes
The sensor body and its magnet sit on the two halves of the opening. When they separate, the T110 sends a state change to the hub, and the hub pushes it into the Tapo app. That gives you two useful things: a live answer to "is the back door shut?" without walking to it, and a trigger you can hang automations on. An indicator LED on the body confirms pairing and activity during setup.
A Sub-1 GHz Link, Not Wi-Fi
The T110 runs on 868 / 922 MHz to its hub instead of joining your wireless network. Front door, back door, every window and the store cupboard can all carry one without adding a single client to the router, and the low-power radio is what allows a coin cell to last as long as it does. The condition is a Tapo hub on site - the sensor has no independent path to the app.
Automations Across Your Tapo Devices
Opening or closing becomes a trigger. A door opening can switch on a Tapo bulb or strip in the hallway, start a Tapo camera recording, or raise a notification on your phone; a window left open can be the thing you get told about rather than the thing you discover later. The hub holds the rules, so devices bought at different times still work together.
Slim Body, Coin Cell, Stated Test Basis
At 61.4 x 37.5 x 12.3 mm the sensor is slim enough to sit on a window frame without fouling the opening, and it fixes with the included 3M adhesive. Power is one CR2032 cell, supplied. TP-Link states the basis for its two-year battery-life figure rather than leaving it bare: "Based on our testing of 30 triggers a day, 22,000 triggers in total". A busy front door will get through a cell faster than a spare-room window.
Ideal For
Singapore homes, shops and small offices running Tapo that want door and window status in the app, entry-triggered lighting or camera recording, and a sensor per opening without loading the Wi-Fi. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty and GST invoice.
