The Tapo RV30 Max Plus Gen 2 moves the RV30 line up to 13,000Pa of suction — 245% more than the previous generation, according to TP-Link — with dToF LiDAR navigation, a tangle-free system that detangles hair in the dock, and a compact auto-empty dock with a 3.3L dust bag rated for up to 90 days hands-free.
13,000Pa Suction and Longer Side Brush
A new high-speed motor delivers 13,000Pa at maximum across five suction levels, with Carpet Boost on rugs and an E11 HEPA filter. A lengthened side brush reaches deeper along walls, around furniture and into corners. Noise is rated at 52 dB in Quiet Mode.
Tangle-Free System
Hair wrapped around the brush is detangled in the dock rather than by hand, so there is no cutting hair off the roller. TP-Link bases its hair-removal claims on Tapo Lab testing and notes results depend on hair type, volume and home environment.
Compact Auto-Empty Dock, Up to 90 Days
The dock measures 285 x 175 x 228.5 mm — TP-Link says it needs 80% less space, small enough to sit under a table or inside a cupboard. It empties the 300 ml dustbin into a pre-installed 3.3L disposable bag, rated for up to 90 days hands-free in Tapo Lab testing.
dToF LiDAR, Mopping and Alexa+
Next-generation dToF LiDAR maps the home and steers around furniture, with anti-drop sensors for stairs and an anti-stuck sensor to back out of tight spaces. It vacuums and mops in one pass from a 300 ml water tank with three water levels, steering around rugs while mopping. TP-Link lists first access to LLM-based Alexa+ voice control, alongside Google Home.
