The Tapo RV20 Max is a robot vacuum and mop just 83 mm tall, with 5300Pa suction and TP-Link's MagSlim LiDAR navigation built into the body rather than a raised turret — so it can map a home accurately and still get under sofas and beds. It vacuums and mops in one pass from a 300 ml dustbin and 300 ml water tank, and returns to its charging dock by itself.
5300Pa Suction with DeepVac
Maximum suction is 5300Pa across five levels, with Carpet Boost raising suction automatically on carpet. TP-Link's DeepVac design — a redesigned air inlet angle, optimised main brush and air ducts — is rated at over 97% dust pickup in Tapo Lab testing, and the H11 HEPA filter traps fine dust. Noise is rated at 52 dB in Quiet Mode.
MagSlim LiDAR in an 83 mm Body
MagSlim navigation integrates the LiDAR sensor into the body, which keeps the robot at 83 mm and lets it navigate low spaces without getting lost or stuck. TP-Link quotes fast mapping with millimetre-level precision, a Mesh Grid cleaning pattern to avoid missed spots, and smart mapping in about 15 minutes so cleaning can start on day one.
Vacuum and Mop in One Pass
A 300 ml water tank with electric water-flow control and three water levels lets the robot mop hard floors while it vacuums. In mopping mode it avoids carpeted areas so rugs stay dry, and carpet cleaning parameters can be customised in the app. It climbs thresholds of up to 22 mm and anti-drop sensors keep it off stairs.
Maps, Zones and Voice Control
The Tapo app stores 3+1 multi-floor maps locally, with map locking, selected-room and zone cleaning, schedules, virtual walls and no-go zones. Recharge and resume sends it back to the dock mid-clean and picks up where it left off. It works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, and has a child and pet lock.
