The Tapo RV10 vacuums and mops in a single pass. A 2000 Pa fan lifts dust and grit into a 400 ml bin through a HEPA filter, while a 300 ml electronically controlled water tank feeds the mop cloth behind it. Gyroscope path planning keeps the runs straight rather than random, and the whole machine is driven from the Tapo app you already use for the rest of your Tapo devices.

2000 Pa Suction With Four Levels and Carpet Boost

Suction is adjustable across four levels, so a quick weekday pass over tile and a weekend pass over rugs are not the same job at the same noise. TP-Link rates the RV10 at 53 dB in Quiet Mode and 55 dB in Default/Standard - quiet enough to run while you are in the next room. Carpet Boost lifts power automatically when the RV10 detects it has moved from hard floor onto carpet, using electricity recognition rather than asking you to switch modes. The 400 ml bin has dustbin detection, and a HEPA filter holds the fines.

Electric Water Flow Control for Mopping

Mopping is wet, not damp-wipe. The 300 ml tank meters water electronically at three levels, so the cloth stays evenly wet across a long run instead of soaking the first room and drying out in the last. The mop cloth mount clips on when you want mopping and comes off when you do not. TP-Link's note is worth passing on: "Adding unofficially designated floor cleaner may cause structural damage to the water tank." Plain water is the safe choice.

Gyroscope Path Planning and Obstacle Handling

The RV10 plans its path with a gyroscope, avoids obstacles with infrared sensing, and has anti-drop protection at stair edges and level changes. It crosses thresholds and door strips up to 20 mm, though TP-Link notes that "The crossing height will be reduced if the mop cloth mount is installed." Recharge and Resume sends it back to the base when the 2600 mAh pack runs low and returns it to the spot it left off, so one charge does not have to cover the whole floor.

Tapo App, Alexa and Google Home

Real-time tracking shows where the robot is as it works, and cleaning can be scheduled so the floors are done before you get home. The RV10 joins 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, with Bluetooth 4.2 used for onboarding only. It works with Amazon Alexa and Google Home, and a child and pet lock stops the buttons being pressed by the people and animals most likely to press them.
