TP-Link Tapo RV30 Max Plus 5300Pa Hyper Suction Robot Vacuum & Mop with Smart Auto-Empty Dock
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link Tapo 5300Pa Hyper Suction Robot Vacuum & Mop + Smart Auto-Empty Dock (RV30 Max Plus) - 18 Months Local Warranty
The Tapo RV30 Max Plus vacuums at up to 5300Pa and mops in the same pass, then docks and empties itself into a 3L disposable bag using 17000Pa of dock suction — TP-Link rates that at up to two months hands-free. LiDAR and gyroscope navigation maps the floor plan, an H11 HEPA filter catches the fines, and it runs up to 150 minutes per charge in Quiet Mode.
5300Pa Suction With DeepVac and Carpet Boost
Maximum suction is 5300Pa across five selectable levels, which is the headline difference in this model's name. TP-Link's DeepVac design — a redesigned air inlet angle, optimised main brush and air ducts — is what it credits for a dust pickup rate of over 97%. Carpet Boost raises power automatically when the robot crosses onto a rug, and a carpet mode lets you set cleaning parameters for carpeted areas. Running noise is 52 dB in Quiet mode and 55 dB in Default/Standard, so an evening run in an HDB living room is not intrusive. An H11 HEPA filter holds the fine dust.
A Dock That Empties the Robot For You
The Smart Auto-Empty Dock pulls the robot's 300 ml bin into a 3L disposable dust bag at 17000Pa, which TP-Link rates as up to two months of hands-free cleaning and a 95% debris removal figure from its own lab. In practice that means you touch the vacuum roughly every eight weeks instead of after every run — a real gain in a home with pets or long hair. The dock measures 228 x 164 x 330 mm and a cleaning brush and one 3L bag are in the box.
LiDAR and Gyroscope Mapping, Mesh Grid Coverage
Mapping and path planning use LiDAR plus a gyroscope, and obstacle avoidance is LiDAR-based. TP-Link's Mesh Grid pathing is its approach to covering a room without leaving gaps, and the app builds a high-precision map with a 3D view of rooms and furniture, which TP-Link notes needs the latest Tapo app on a tablet. TP-Link publishes 3+1 multi-floor local-stored maps, plus map locking, virtual walls, no-go zones, zone cleaning, real-time tracking and scheduled cleaning. An anti-stuck sensor on top backs the robot out of spaces with too little headroom. Barrier-cross height is 22 mm.
Wet Mopping With Electric Water Control
Mopping uses an electric water flow control with three water levels and a 300 ml tank, rather than gravity drip. In mopping mode the robot avoids carpeted areas so rugs do not get wet, which is the behaviour that makes a combined vacuum-and-mop run practical in a mixed-flooring flat. The mopping attachment is supplied in the box. Water level, suction level and room selection are all set per-run in the Tapo app.
Tapo App, Alexa and Google Home
Setup is over Bluetooth 4.2 and the robot then runs on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, IEEE 802.11 b/g/n. Tapo IQ+ Smart Cleaning uses multiple sensors and algorithms to pick its own approach, including 15-minute fast smart mapping from day one. The dock draws 650 W at peak and the robot 45 W, on a 220-240 VAC supply for this market. A child and pet lock stops accidental starts, anti-drop protection keeps it off stair edges, and recharge-and-resume picks up where a low battery left off. Do Not Disturb and a voice notification system are also supported.
Ideal For
HDB flats, condominium units and landed homes with mixed tile, vinyl and rug flooring where someone is tired of emptying a bin after every run — particularly homes with pets or long hair, and multi-storey homes that need more than one saved map. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and project pricing on request.

Published Footnotes
TP-Link publishes the following caveats for this model. On its Singapore product page: "Testing is conducted by Tapo Lab using Tapo RV30 Max Plus compared to Tapo RV30 Plus on hard floors. Actual results may vary according to the house environment."; "Based on internal testing by Tapo Lab, Actual results are subject to change due to usage and environmental factors."; "3D house mapping requires updating to the latest Tapo app on tablet devices." In its V1.0 datasheet PDF the comparison footnote instead reads: "Testing is conducted by Tapo Lab using Tapo RV30 Max Plus compared to Tapo RV30 Plus on rough wood floors." Both are recorded here rather than reconciled.
Every figure above is transcribed from TP-Link's own Singapore product page for the Tapo RV30 Max Plus and from its own V1.0 datasheet PDF, with the source named wherever the two differ. Nothing is carried across from the RV30, RV30 Plus, RV30 Max, RV30 Max Plus White or RV30 Max Plus Gen2.
TP-Link does not publish the following for the RV30 Max Plus, so none is quoted here: net weight of the robot or the dock, maximum cleaning area in square metres, whether the H11 HEPA filter is washable, dock operating noise, side-brush or main-brush replacement intervals, and a certifications list.

Frequently Asked Questions — Tapo RV30 Max Plus
How often do I actually have to empty it?
TP-Link rates the 3L dock bag at up to two months of hands-free cleaning. The robot's own bin is 300 ml and the dock pulls it out at 17000Pa after each run, with a 95% debris removal figure from TP-Link's own lab. You change a disposable bag rather than tipping out dust, which is the point for anyone with allergies.
Can it vacuum and mop in one run?
Yes. Fit the supplied mopping attachment and it vacuums and wet-mops together, with three water levels under electric flow control and a 300 ml tank. In mopping mode it avoids carpeted areas so rugs stay dry, so a mixed tile-and-rug flat does not need two separate runs.
How many floors can it map?
TP-Link publishes 3+1 multi-floor local-stored maps for this model, and a map-locking option so a map you have edited is not overwritten. You still carry the robot between floors.
How is it different from the other RV30 models?
This listing is specifically the RV30 Max Plus: 5300Pa maximum suction, LiDAR plus gyroscope navigation, a 2600 mAh battery and a 3L Smart Auto-Empty Dock at 17000Pa. TP-Link publishes separate specifications for the RV30 Max, the RV30 Max Plus White and the RV30 Max Plus Gen2, and none of their figures are quoted here.
Will it handle a doorway lip or a floor divider?
Barrier-cross height is 22 mm, which covers most Singapore internal thresholds and tile-to-parquet transitions. Anti-drop protection keeps it away from a stair edge, an anti-stuck sensor backs it out of tight headroom, and virtual walls and no-go zones in the Tapo app fence off anything you would rather it left alone.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
18 Months Local Warranty (Singapore); internal battery 6 months. A GST invoice comes with every order.
