PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

TP-Link Tapo Pan/Tilt Home Security Wi-Fi Camera (Tapo C200) - 3 Years Local Warranty

The Tapo C200 is the camera most Singapore households start with: a motorised pan/tilt head covering a full 360 degrees, 1080p Full HD video, two-way audio and a 93 dB siren, recording to a microSD card with no subscription required. It sits below the 2K Tapo C210 and C211 in resolution while keeping the same coverage, and it remains the value entry point to the Tapo range.

360 Degree Pan and 110 Degree Tilt From One Fixed Position

The motor pans 340 degrees and tilts 70 degrees, which TP-Link states gives 360 degree horizontal and 110.8 degree vertical coverage of a room. That matters because a fixed-lens camera forces you to choose one corner and accept the blind spots; a pan/tilt head lets a single unit sweep an entire living room, shop floor or storeroom. You drive it by swiping in the Tapo app, and saved positions let you jump straight to the front door or the till rather than hunting for the angle each time.

1080p Full HD With 12 m Night Vision

A 1/3 inch progressive scan CMOS sensor and a 4.0 mm f/2.0 lens deliver 1920 x 1080 video at up to 30 fps, with a field of view of 88.3 degrees diagonal. After dark an 850 nm infrared LED lights the scene to 40 ft (12 m) in full darkness, enough for a typical room or corridor end to end. Nine times digital zoom lets you push into a recorded clip to read a face or a plate number, and H.264 compression keeps the file sizes manageable on a card you rarely want to swap.

Two-Way Audio and a 93 dB Siren

A built-in microphone and speaker give two-way audio with noise cancellation, so you can speak to whoever is in the room from your phone — useful for a delivery at the door, a child home from school, or telling a contractor which cupboard to open. Where the camera detects something it should not, a 93 dB siren (measured at 10 cm) can be triggered automatically or by hand from the app, turning a passive record-only camera into something that actually interrupts what is happening.

Records to microSD Up to 512 GB, No Subscription Needed

The card slot accepts up to 512 GB, and local recording carries no recurring fee — an important distinction for buyers who do not want another monthly line item. Tapo Care cloud storage is available as a paid subscription for anyone who would rather keep footage off site, but it is entirely optional and the camera is fully functional without it. The microSD card is purchased separately.

Ideal For

Singapore homes, HDB and condo units, small retail counters, clinics, tuition centres and back-of-house storerooms that need one camera to watch a whole room rather than one fixed angle, with local recording and no ongoing subscription. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and volume pricing on request.

Compatibility & Software Support

The Tapo C200 is set up and operated through the Tapo app, which manages every Tapo camera, plug, bulb and sensor in one place. It is a consumer Wi-Fi camera and is not part of the Omada or VIGI business ranges; it cannot be adopted into an Omada Controller and it is not managed by VIGI NVR software.

Tapo App Supported — setup and remote viewing from iOS and Android
Wi-Fi Requirement 2.4 GHz network required; the camera does not join 5 GHz networks
Tapo Care Optional paid cloud storage subscription; the camera records locally to microSD without it
Omada / VIGI Management Not supported — the Tapo range is separate from TP-Link's Omada and VIGI business lines

Where you need cameras that integrate with a business NVR or with central network management, ask SourceIT about the VIGI range instead.

Frequently Asked Questions — Tapo C200

Do I have to pay a subscription to use the Tapo C200?

No. The camera records to a microSD card of up to 512 GB with no recurring fee. Tapo Care cloud storage is an optional paid subscription for anyone who wants footage kept off site as well.

Will it connect to my 5 GHz Wi-Fi?

No. The Tapo C200 is a 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g/n device. If your router broadcasts one combined network name, you may need to separate the bands temporarily during setup.

How is this different from the Tapo C210?

Both cover a full 360 degrees with the same pan/tilt head. The C210 records at 2K 3MP (2304 × 1296) against the C200's 1080p (1920 × 1080). If detail at distance matters — reading a face across a shop rather than seeing that someone is there — the higher resolution model is the better buy.

What warranty does SourceIT provide?

Three years local Singapore warranty, per TP-Link Singapore's replacement warranty policy. Every Tapo C200 sold by SourceIT comes with a GST invoice.

Can SourceIT quote this in quantity?

Yes. Send us the quantity and the site details and we will quote, including any Tapo plugs, sensors or hubs you want to pair with it.
