TP-Link Tapo 2K 4MP QHD Pan/Tilt AI Home Security Wi-Fi Camera
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link Tapo Pan/Tilt AI Home Security Wi-Fi Camera (Tapo C220) - 3 Years Local Warranty
The Tapo C220 is where the range becomes genuinely intelligent: 2K 4MP QHD at 2560 x 1440, a 99 dB siren, and ten distinct on-device detection types — person, vehicle, pet, baby cry, glass breaking, line crossing and more. It is the model to choose when you are tired of notifications that turn out to be a ceiling fan.
Ten Detection Types, Not One
TP-Link lists motion, person, vehicle, pet, baby cry, line-crossing, tamper, meow, bark and glass-breaking detection on this model. The practical value is precision: a camera that can tell a person from a cat from a passing car lets you alert only on what matters, which is the difference between notifications you read and notifications you mute. Line-crossing and tamper detection add a perimeter rule and a warning if someone interferes with the camera itself.
2K 4MP QHD Across a Full 360 Degrees
A 1/3 inch sensor behind a 4.0 mm f/2.0 lens records 2560 x 1440 — a step up from the 3MP C210 and C211 — while the motorised head delivers 360 degrees horizontally and 114 degrees vertically. Frame rate is selectable from 15 up to 30 fps, so you can trade smoothness against card space. An 850 nm infrared LED covers up to 30 ft in darkness.
A 99 dB Siren and Two-Way Audio
At 99 dB measured at 10 cm, the C220's siren is the loudest in this group of indoor Tapo cameras and is meant to be heard across a house or a shop, not merely noticed. Two-way audio with noise cancellation runs through the built-in microphone and speaker, so you can issue a warning or simply talk to whoever is there.
512 GB Local Recording, Cloud Optional
The microSD slot accepts up to 512 GB and recording locally costs nothing beyond the card, which is purchased separately. Tapo Care cloud services are an optional paid subscription; TP-Link notes a free trial for the first month. The camera runs from a 9 V adapter and mounts on a tabletop or ceiling in an 85.4 x 86.8 x 117.7 mm body. It is Wi-Fi only — TP-Link publishes no Ethernet port on this model.
Ideal For
Singapore homes with pets or young children, shops and clinics that need reliable alerts rather than constant false alarms, and anyone who wants QHD detail and a loud deterrent from a single indoor unit. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and volume pricing on request.

Frequently Asked Questions — Tapo C220
What can the C220 actually detect?
TP-Link lists ten types: motion, person, vehicle, pet, baby cry, line-crossing, tamper, meow, bark and glass-breaking. You choose which ones raise an alert, which is what keeps the notifications useful.
How does it compare with the C225?
Both are 2K QHD AI cameras with the same detection list. The C225 uses a larger 1/2.9 inch starlight sensor at 2688 × 1520 with an f/1.6 lens and tilts 149 degrees; the C220 is 2560 × 1440 on a 1/3 inch sensor with a louder 99 dB siren. The C225 is the better low-light performer, the C220 the louder deterrent.
Can it be wired to the network?
No. TP-Link publishes no Ethernet port on the C220 — it is Wi-Fi only on 2.4 GHz. If you need a wired camera, the Tapo C212 has a 100 Mbps RJ45 port.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
Three years local Singapore warranty, per TP-Link Singapore's replacement warranty policy. Every Tapo C220 sold by SourceIT comes with a GST invoice.
Can SourceIT quote this in quantity?
Yes. Send the quantity and site details and we will quote, including microSD cards sized for the retention you need.
