PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

TP-Link Tapo Mini Smart Wi-Fi Socket, Energy Monitoring (P110) - 3 Years Local Warranty

The Tapo P110 is TP-Link's compact 13 A smart socket with energy monitoring built in — it switches an appliance from your phone or by voice, and reports what that appliance is actually consuming back to the Tapo app. It joins home Wi-Fi directly, with no hub, bridge or accessory required. This listing is the 2-pack.

See What Each Appliance Actually Costs to Run

The P110 is the P100 with energy monitoring added: it reports the consumption of whatever is plugged into it back to the Tapo app, so a fridge, an air-conditioner, a gaming rig or an always-on router can be measured rather than guessed at. TP-Link rates the socket's own overhead at 1.64 W with the relay on and 0.64 W in standby, so the measurement apparatus adds very little to the bill it is measuring.

13 A Rated for Singapore Mains

The socket is rated for AC 220–240 V at 50/60 Hz with a maximum load of 2990 W, 13 A — Singapore mains with no adapter in the path. At 51 × 72 × 40 mm it is compact enough to usually leave the adjacent outlet on a twin socket usable, and it carries a power button and a status LED on the body for local control when the phone is not to hand.

Schedules, Timers and Away Mode

Configuration runs entirely in the free Tapo app on iOS or Android. Schedules switch loads at set times, countdown timers cut power after a period, and away mode cycles a connected lamp to suggest occupancy. Combined with the consumption data, that makes it practical to shift a high-draw appliance to a different time of day and then confirm from the app that the change actually did something.

No Hub Required, Voice Control Included

The P110 joins a secured 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network directly over IEEE 802.11 b/g/n — no Tapo hub, no bridge, no accessory. TP-Link's own footnote puts it plainly: “No separate hub or accessories required.” Voice control runs through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, and the socket sits in the same Tapo app as the rest of the range for scenes spanning plugs, strips, bulbs, sensors and cameras.

Indoor Use Only

Operating range is 0 ºC to 35 ºC at 10%–90% RH, non-condensing, and the certifications listed are CE and RoHS. Like every Tapo socket this is an indoor product — keep it away from bathrooms, balconies and anywhere exposed to rain or sustained humidity.

Ideal For

Households and small offices in Singapore tracking what an air-conditioner, fridge, server or gaming rig actually costs to run, and anyone who wants scheduling and voice control with consumption data attached. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty and GST invoice.

Frequently Asked Questions — P110

What does the energy monitoring actually show?

The P110 reports the consumption of whatever is plugged into it back to the Tapo app, so you can see what a specific appliance is drawing and over what period. TP-Link rates the socket's own draw at 1.64 W with the relay on and 0.64 W in standby.

How is the P110 different from the P100?

Energy monitoring. Both are 2990 W / 13 A sockets in the same 51 × 72 × 40 mm body; the P110 adds per-appliance consumption reporting in the Tapo app.

Are the 2 sockets set up individually?

Yes. Each socket is added to the Tapo app as its own device, and can then be grouped, scheduled or put into scenes together.

Does it need a Tapo hub?

No. The P110 connects directly to a secured 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. There is no hub or bridge to buy.

Can it be used outdoors or in a bathroom?

No. TP-Link states plainly: “Please do not use in damp environments or outdoors.”

What warranty does SourceIT provide?

Three years local Singapore replacement warranty — the default term TP-Link publishes for products that fall under none of its shorter warranty categories. Every Tapo P110 sold by SourceIT comes with a GST invoice.

Is stock held locally?

SourceIT holds fast-moving Tapo lines in Singapore. Anything not in local stock is brought in on indent — ask us for the current lead time before committing to a date.
