PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

TP-Link Tapo Outdoor Security Wi-Fi Camera (Tapo C320WS) - 2 Years Local Warranty

The Tapo C320WS is the 4MP fixed outdoor camera in the Tapo range: a 2560 x 1440 sensor behind a fast f/1.61 lens, two white-light LEDs for colour footage after dark, and an IP66 housing. It is the detail upgrade over the 3MP C310 for anyone who needs to read a plate or a face rather than simply see movement.

4MP Detail Through a Fast f/1.61 Lens

Video is captured at 2560 x 1440 through a 3.18 mm f/1.61 lens on a 1/3 inch sensor. The wide aperture is the point: it gathers more light than the f/2.2 optics on the 3MP C310, so dusk and streetlight scenes stay usable rather than turning to noise. Recording runs at 15 fps with H.264 compression.

Night Vision to 30 Metres Plus Two White-Light LEDs

An 850 nm infrared array reaches up to 98 ft, or 30 m, in complete darkness. Two white-light LEDs are built into the housing alongside the system LED, so the camera can light a scene rather than fall back to infrared monochrome. Between them, a driveway or carpark bay stays covered right through the night.

IP66 Housing for Year-Round Outdoor Use

The C320WS carries an IP66 weatherproof rating and ships with a waterproof seal and waterproof cable attachments for the cable join, which is where outdoor cameras usually let water in. TP-Link rates it for operation from -20 to 45 degrees Celsius at 10 to 90 percent relative humidity, non-condensing.

Motion Alerts and Two-Way Audio

Motion detection triggers a push notification through the Tapo app. Two-way audio through the built-in microphone and speaker lets you answer a visitor or warn somebody off from your phone. The wireless link runs 802.11b/g/n on 2.4 GHz with WPA/WPA2-PSK, and traffic is protected with 128-bit AES encryption with SSL/TLS.

Ideal For

Singapore landed homes, shophouses, carparks, loading bays and commercial frontages where identification matters and a fixed field of view is enough. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and volume pricing on request.

The C320WS is a fixed camera. TP-Link publishes no pan or tilt range, no field-of-view figure, no siren decibel rating, no net weight and no Ethernet or antenna row for this model, so none is claimed here. Local storage is published only in a footnote, as microSD up to 256 GB, card not included.

Compatibility & Software Support

The Tapo C320WS is set up and operated through the Tapo app, which manages every Tapo camera, plug, bulb and sensor in one place. It is a consumer Wi-Fi camera and is not part of the Omada or VIGI business ranges: it cannot be adopted into an Omada Controller and it is not managed by VIGI NVR software.

Tapo App Supported — setup and remote viewing from iOS and Android
System Requirements iOS 10 or higher, Android 5.0 or higher
Wi-Fi Requirement 2.4 GHz network required; the camera does not join 5 GHz networks
Local Storage MicroSD up to 256 GB per TP-Link's published footnote; card purchased separately
Omada / VIGI Management Not supported — the Tapo range is separate from TP-Link's Omada and VIGI business lines

TP-Link's Singapore specification for the C320WS publishes no third-party voice-assistant row, so no Alexa or Google Assistant support is claimed here. Where you need cameras that integrate with a business NVR or with central network management, ask SourceIT about the VIGI range instead.

Frequently Asked Questions — Tapo C320WS

Does the C320WS pan and tilt?

No. It is a fixed-position outdoor camera. If you need a steerable head covering 360 degrees from one mounting point, the Tapo C510W or C520WS are the pan/tilt models in this range.

How is it different from the Tapo C310?

Both are fixed IP66 outdoor cameras with the same body dimensions and 30 m infrared reach. The C320WS records 4MP (2560 × 1440) through a faster f/1.61 lens and adds two white-light LEDs; the C310 records 3MP (2304 × 1296) at f/2.2 with no white light.

What size microSD card does it take?

TP-Link publishes microSD support up to 256 GB for this model in a footnote rather than in the specification table. The card is purchased separately.

What warranty does SourceIT provide?

Two years local Singapore warranty. TP-Link Singapore's replacement warranty policy places the outdoor camera series on a two-year term rather than the three-year default. Every Tapo C320WS sold by SourceIT comes with a GST invoice.

Can SourceIT quote this in quantity?

Yes. Send the quantity and site details and we will quote, including microSD cards, mounting and any Tapo accessories you want supplied with them.
