The RV20 Mop replaces the turret most LiDAR robots wear with TP-Link's MagSlim™ module, keeping the body to 78 mm so it clears low sofas and bed frames. Underneath it is a 2700 Pa vacuum with an H11 HEPA filter and a 300 ml mopping tank, mapping the floor properly rather than bouncing off walls, and driven from the Tapo app.

MagSlim™ LiDAR Mapping at 78 mm Tall

MagSlim™ LiDAR plus a gyroscope builds a high-precision map of the floor, which is what makes multi-floor mapping, virtual walls, no-go zones and zone cleaning possible - you can tell it to do the kitchen and leave the study alone. Because the sensor does not sit in a raised tower, the robot is 78 mm tall and goes under furniture that stops taller machines. Obstacle avoidance and anti-drop protection are both fitted, with a 20 mm barrier-cross height.

2700 Pa Suction, H11 HEPA and 51 dB

Suction reaches 2700 Pa across four levels, with Carpet Boost raising power on rugs. The 400 ml bin has dustbin detection and an H11 HEPA filter. TP-Link rates the RV20 Mop at 51 dB, low enough to run during a work call. The suction figure is qualified by TP-Link as measured "according to IEC 62885-2:2016 / 5.8 standards, using Max mode with a full battery at the inlet of the suction fan blower."

Mopping With Four Water Levels

The 300 ml tank meters water across four levels, so a marble hallway and a timber bedroom can be given different amounts of water in the same run. Wet mopping is listed in TP-Link's specification table alongside those four water levels, and the carton supplies the mop cloth mount and two washable mop cloths, so mopping works from the first run with nothing else to buy. TP-Link does not publish a replacement mop cloth part number for this model, so none is named here.

Tapo App, Alexa and Google Home

Real-time tracking, scheduling, virtual walls, no-go zones and zone cleaning all live in the Tapo app, alongside your Tapo cameras, plugs and lights. The robot joins 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, with Bluetooth 4.2 used only for setup. Amazon Alexa and Google Home are supported, and a child and pet lock keeps the panel from being pressed by accident.
