TP-Link Tapo Home Security Wi-Fi Camera (Tapo C110) - 3 Years Local Warranty
The Tapo C110 is the fixed-lens 2K camera: no motor, no moving parts, just a 1/2.8 inch sensor recording 3MP at 2304 x 1296 in a body small enough to sit on a bookshelf. Where a pan/tilt camera adds coverage, the C110 adds simplicity and detail at a lower price, which makes it the natural choice for a doorway, a till or a nursery.
2K 3MP Detail From a Fixed Lens
A 1/2.8 inch sensor behind a 3.3 mm f/2.0 lens records 2304 x 1296 — the same resolution as the pan/tilt C210, on the same class of sensor. Because the camera does not move, every frame comes from the angle you chose when you mounted it, which is often exactly what you want for a single fixed subject: a front door, a cash drawer, a cot. H.264 compression keeps the recordings compact.
Night Vision to 9 m
An 850 nm infrared LED lights the scene up to 30 ft in complete darkness — enough to cover a room, a hallway or a shop entrance through the night. Two-way audio through the built-in microphone and speaker lets you listen in and speak back from the Tapo app on your phone.
256 GB of Local Recording With No Subscription
The microSD slot takes cards up to 256 GB and the card is not included. Recording locally costs nothing beyond that card — there is no compulsory cloud plan, which over several years is a meaningful difference against subscription-first camera brands. Tapo Care cloud storage remains available as an optional paid service.
Encrypted in Transit, Small Enough to Disappear
The camera joins 2.4 GHz networks with WPA and WPA2-PSK, and TP-Link specifies 128-bit AES encryption with SSL/TLS for the stream. At 67.6 x 54.8 x 98.9 mm it is genuinely compact, and mounting screws and a template are supplied so it can go on a wall or shelf. It runs from a 9 V 0.6 A adapter and is rated 0 to 40 degrees C.

TP-Link does not publish a siren decibel rating for the Tapo C110, so none is claimed here. This is a fixed camera — it has no pan/tilt motor.
Compatibility & Software Support
The Tapo C110 is set up and operated through the Tapo app, which manages every Tapo camera, plug, bulb and sensor in one place. It is a consumer Wi-Fi camera and is not part of the Omada or VIGI business ranges; it cannot be adopted into an Omada Controller and it is not managed by VIGI NVR software.

Frequently Asked Questions — Tapo C110
Does the C110 pan and tilt?
No. It is a fixed camera. If you need one unit to cover a whole room, look at the Tapo C210, C211 or C220, which have motorised heads.
How does it compare with the Tapo C100?
The C110 records 3MP (2304 × 1296) on a 1/2.8 inch sensor and takes cards up to 256 GB; the C100 records 1080p on a smaller 1/3.2 inch sensor and takes cards up to 128 GB. The bodies are near-identical in size.
Does it need a subscription?
No. Recording to a microSD card of up to 256 GB is free. Tapo Care cloud storage is optional and paid.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
