TP-Link Solar-Powered Pan/Tilt Security Camera Kit (Tapo C660 KIT) - 2 Years Local Warranty
The Tapo C660 KIT combines the Tapo C660 4K 8MP pan/tilt Wi-Fi camera with a Tapo A201 solar panel. A 10000 mAh built-in battery, a starlight sensor with spotlights for colour night vision, dual-band 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi and free person, pet and vehicle detection make it a cable-free 4K option for outdoor areas. Camera and panel are both rated IP65.
4K Resolution and 18x Digital Zoom
The camera records at 4K 8MP (3840 x 2160) through an F1.6, 4.0 mm lens on a 1/2.7" starlight CMOS sensor, with 3DNR and WDR. TP-Link lists 18x digital zoom, which helps when reading detail from a live view of a driveway or gate.
Starlight Colour Night Vision
Low-light performance comes from the F1.6 aperture, the starlight sensor and two built-in spotlights for full-colour night images, with an 850 nm IR LED rated to 12 m (40 ft) for infrared mode.
360° AI Tracking with Free Detection
Person, pet and vehicle detection are included without a subscription, and the pan/tilt head (326° mechanical pan for 360° coverage, 45° mechanical tilt for 90° coverage) tracks detected subjects. TP-Link notes scanning and cruising times are limited each day.
Solar Powered, Dual-Band Wi-Fi
TP-Link states 45 minutes of direct sunlight powers the camera for a full day, measured under standard conditions (1000 W/m2, 25°C, AM1.5) with up to 100 events a day. The A201 panel charges at up to 5.2 V and 2.5 W. The camera can join 5 GHz for more bandwidth or 2.4 GHz for longer range; TP-Link notes 5 GHz has reduced range, so the router must be within reach. Recording goes to microSD up to 512 GB (not included), Tapo Care cloud, or, per TP-Link, a Tapo H500 hub (sold separately) with HDD/SSD storage up to 16 TB.

Does it need a power point?
No. It runs on a 10000 mAh built-in battery charged by the included Tapo A201 solar panel. A 5 V 2 A adapter can also be used but is not included.
Does it support 5 GHz Wi-Fi?
Yes, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. TP-Link notes 5 GHz has shorter range, so check signal at the mounting point.
Is there a subscription for person detection?
No. Person, pet and vehicle detection are free. Tapo Care is only needed for cloud storage and snapshot notifications.
