TP-Link Solar-Powered Pan/Tilt Security Camera Kit (Tapo C610 KIT) - 2 Years Local Warranty
The Tapo C610 KIT pairs the Tapo C610 2K 3MP pan/tilt Wi-Fi camera with a Tapo A201 solar panel for a wire-free outdoor installation. It offers 360° horizontal and 130° vertical coverage, smart person detection with tracking, colour night vision from two spotlights and IP65 weatherproofing for both camera and panel.
Solar Power, Installs Almost Anywhere
The included Tapo A201 panel charges the built-in battery at up to 5.2 V and 2.5 W, removing the need for a power point. TP-Link rates 45 minutes of sunlight as sufficient for a day under standard test conditions (1000 W/m2, 25°C, AM1.5, up to 100 events a day). An extension wire lets the panel sit in the sun while the camera sits where it is needed.
Pan/Tilt with Person Tracking
The head covers a full 360° horizontally (340° mechanical) and 130° vertically (90° mechanical). Smart person detection cuts alerts triggered by other movement, and the camera tracks people and motion across its range.
2K Video and Colour Night Vision
A 1/2.8" CMOS sensor with an F1.6, 4.0 mm lens records 2K 3MP (2304 x 1296) at 15 fps with 3DNR and WDR, and 10.8x digital zoom. Two built-in spotlights give full-colour images at night; two 850 nm IR LEDs cover infrared mode to 10 m (33 ft).
Storage Options
Recordings go to a microSD card up to 512 GB (not included) or Tapo Care cloud storage by subscription. TP-Link also notes compatibility with the Tapo H500 hub (sold separately), which takes an HDD or SSD of up to 16 TB.

Does it detect pets and vehicles?
TP-Link lists motion and person detection for the C610. If vehicle and pet detection matter, the C615G, C630 or C660 kits list them.
Does it support 5 GHz Wi-Fi?
No. TP-Link lists 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g/n only.
Can the solar panel be mounted apart from the camera?
Yes. An extension wire is included so the panel can be placed where it gets sun. One panel connects to one camera.
