TP-Link Tapo Outdoor Pan/Tilt Security Wi-Fi Camera (Tapo C530WS) - 2 Years Local Warranty
The Tapo C530WS is an outdoor pan/tilt camera that records in 3K 5MP and turns to follow movement. It covers 360° horizontally and 130° vertically from one mounting point, sees in colour after dark with a starlight sensor and twin spotlights, and connects by Wi-Fi or a wired Ethernet port, all inside an IP66 housing.
3K 5MP Detail With Starlight Colour Night Vision
Video is captured at 2880 x 1620 on a 1/2.7 inch starlight CMOS sensor behind a 4.0 mm F1.6 lens, with 12x digital zoom for reading detail after the event. The starlight sensor and two built-in spotlights keep night footage in full colour, and the 850 nm infrared LED reaches up to 98 ft (29.9 m) when you would rather the camera stayed unlit.
360° Coverage With Motion Tracking and Patrol
The head pans through a 340° mechanical range for 360° coverage and tilts through 90°. Motion tracking follows a subject across the scene, and patrol mode cruises between multiple custom points you set in the Tapo app, so one camera on a corner can watch a gate, a driveway and a yard in turn.
AI Detection That Cuts False Alerts
On-device detection identifies people, pets and vehicles, and adds line-crossing and tamper detection, so notifications focus on what matters rather than every passing shadow. When it does fire, a 93 dB siren and the bright spotlights act as a sound and light deterrent, and two-way audio with noise cancellation lets you speak to whoever is there.
Wi-Fi or Ethernet, Local or Cloud
Connect over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) through the dual external antennas, or run a cable to the 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port for a fixed link. Footage records to a microSD card of up to 512 GB, with Tapo Care cloud storage as an optional subscription, and RTSP and ONVIF support lets you pull the stream into third-party recording software.

Compatibility & Software Support
The Tapo C530WS is set up and operated through the Tapo app, which manages every Tapo camera, plug, bulb and sensor in one place. It is a consumer Wi-Fi camera and is not part of the Omada or VIGI business ranges: it cannot be adopted into an Omada Controller and it is not managed by VIGI NVR software.

How is the C530WS different from the Tapo C500?
Both are outdoor pan/tilt cameras in the same 123.8 x 123 x 90 mm housing. The C530WS steps up to 3K 5MP (2880 x 1620) on a 1/2.7 inch starlight sensor, adds an Ethernet port, pet, vehicle and line-crossing detection, built-in spotlights, a 93 dB siren and an IP66 rating. The C500 records 1080p (1920 x 1080), is Wi-Fi only, has a 90 dB siren and is rated IP65.
Can I use a network cable instead of Wi-Fi?
Yes. The camera has a 10/100 Mbps RJ45 port, so you can run Ethernet for a fixed connection. Power still comes from the supplied 9 V adapter.
Can I pull the stream into my own recording software?
Yes. TP-Link publishes RTSP and ONVIF support for this model, so it is not locked to the Tapo app.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
