TP-Link Omada DeltaStream 8-Port Pizza-Box GPON Optical Line Terminal (DS-P7001-08) - 5 Years Local Warranty
The DS-P7001-08 is TP-Link's 8-port DeltaStream GPON OLT in a 1U pizza-box chassis. It doubles the 4-port model's PON capacity to up to 1,024 ONTs, adds a second 10G SFP+ uplink, and moves to hot-swappable dual power supplies in any combination of 2 AC, 2 DC or AC+DC — the step up for larger estates, campuses and service-provider deployments.
Eight GPON Ports Serving Up to 1,024 ONTs
Each GPON port delivers 2.5 Gbps downstream and 1.25 Gbps upstream on 1490/1310 nm wavelengths, with Class C+ optics, SC/UPC interfaces on single-mode fibre and a rated reach of 20 km. A maximum 1:128 split per port lets one unit address up to 1,024 ONTs, so a single rack unit can head-end a large residential development, hotel or multi-building campus.
Two 10G SFP+ Uplinks for Bandwidth and Redundancy
Upstream capacity comes from 2× 10 Gbps SFP+ uplink ports plus a 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 uplink, giving room to aggregate eight PON trees or to dual-home the OLT to two core switches. RJ45 console and RJ45 management ports keep administration out-of-band, and a reserved alarm port is provided.
Hot-Swappable Dual Power — 2 AC, 2 DC or AC+DC
The DS-P7001-08 takes two hot-swappable power supplies in any mix of AC (100–240 V, 50/60 Hz) and DC (-38.4 V to -72 V). A failed supply can be replaced without taking subscribers offline, and the OLT can be fed from two independent mains circuits, two DC plants, or one of each. Maximum power consumption is 70 W.
ONU Security, Multi-Service QoS and L2/L2+ Features
Standard OMCI management, ONU auto authentication, rogue ONU detection and isolation, and uplink/downlink data encryption secure the optical network. Switching features include ACL, 802.1X, ARP inspection, IP Source Guard, DHCP server and relay, 802.1p/DSCP QoS with Voice VLAN and Auto VoIP, multi-service traffic identification and rate limiting, static routing, and IGMP/MLD snooping for IPTV and multicast.
Central Management via DPMS, SNMP, CLI, Web — and Omada Controller
TP-Link specifies management through the DeltaStream PON Management System (DPMS), SNMP, CLI and Web UI, with large-scale device management, batch configure/upgrade/reboot, multi-site management and real-time monitoring. TP-Link's V1.10 firmware (1.1.0 Build 20250716) release notes add support for the OLT being adopted by Omada Controller, with WEB and SNMP management still available after adoption and System Interfaces manageable under Central Management through Omada Controller.

Does the DS-P7001-08 need an Omada Controller?
No. The OLT can be managed through its Web UI, CLI and SNMP, or at scale through DPMS. From firmware V1.10 it can also be adopted by Omada Controller, which suits sites already running an Omada network.
How does it differ from the 4-port DS-P7001-04?
Eight GPON ports instead of four (up to 1,024 ONTs instead of 512), two 10G SFP+ uplinks instead of one, and hot-swappable dual power supplies in 2 AC, 2 DC or AC+DC combinations instead of built-in AC+DC.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
