PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link 5-Port Gigabit Desktop Switch with 4-Port PoE+ (TL-SG1005P) - 5 Years Local Warranty
The TL-SG1005P is the smallest practical PoE+ switch for a business site: four 802.3at powered ports and one uplink in a 99 mm square fanless chassis, with a 65 W budget. It is unmanaged and needs no setup, which is exactly what is wanted when the job is "add two cameras and an access point to this office" rather than "design a network".
Four PoE+ Ports and One Uplink on a 65 W Budget
Ports 1 to 4 are 802.3af and 802.3at compliant, sharing a 65 W supply; port 5 is the uplink back to the router or a larger switch. Sixty-five watts covers four typical 802.3af cameras or access points at 12 to 15 W each with room to spare, or two full 30 W 802.3at devices. Consumption is 4.3 W with nothing powered and 74.2 W under a full 65 W load.
10 Gbps Fabric With IGMP Snooping and QoS
All five ports run Gigabit full duplex on a 10 Gbps non-blocking fabric, with a 7.44 Mpps forwarding rate. A 2K MAC address table matches the endpoint count of a switch this size, and 16 KB jumbo frame support helps NVR and NAS traffic. IGMP snooping prevents multicast video flooding every port, while 802.1p/DSCP QoS and 802.3x flow control run automatically with no configuration exposed.
Genuinely Small and Completely Silent
At 99 x 98 x 25 mm the TL-SG1005P takes up roughly the footprint of a coaster, and with no fan it makes no noise at all. That combination is what lets it go where a switch normally cannot — inside a reception desk, behind a display panel, in a ceiling void next to an access point, or in a shallow wall box. Power comes from an external 54 V DC / 1.3 A adapter supplied in the box.
Ideal For
Singapore shops, clinics, meeting rooms and home offices adding a handful of PoE cameras, access points or IP phones where space and silence matter more than port count. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and project pricing on request.

Frequently Asked Questions — TL-SG1005P
What is the difference between this and the TL-SG1005LP?
Both are five-port Gigabit switches with four PoE+ ports. The TL-SG1005P has a 65 W budget; the TL-SG1005LP has 40 W and a lower-rated adapter. Choose the P when the powered devices are access points or heavier cameras.
Which hardware version will I receive?
TP-Link currently publishes V2 as the standard revision and the specifications above are the V2 figures. Ask us to confirm the revision in stock before ordering if it matters to your project.
Can it be adopted into an Omada Controller?
No. It is unmanaged and will not appear in a controller, though it powers and connects Omada access points normally.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
Five years local Singapore warranty, in line with TP-Link's replacement warranty policy for unmanaged PoE switches. Every unit sold by SourceIT comes with a GST invoice.
Can SourceIT quote this for a project or tender?
Yes. Send the bill of materials and we will quote the whole build — switching, access points, cameras and optics — with local warranty and support.
