PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link Omada Campus 24-Port SFP Stackable Lite L3 Managed Switch with 4× 10G Slots (SG5428XF) - 5 Years Local Warranty
The SG5428XF is the fibre-aggregation model in TP-Link's Omada SG5400 stackable Lite L3 range: 20 Gigabit SFP slots, 4 Gigabit RJ45/SFP combo ports and four 10G SFP+ uplinks, with dual internal power supplies for mutual backup, four-unit stacking and Lite L3 routing under Omada SDN.
20 SFP Slots and 4 Combo Ports for Fibre Aggregation
Twenty 100/1000 Mbps SFP slots plus four Gigabit RJ45/SFP combo ports terminate fibre runs from distant buildings, floors or outdoor cabinets, while four 1/10 Gbps SFP+ slots carry the uplinks. Each unit provides 128 Gbps switching capacity and 95.23 Mpps forwarding.
Dual Internal Power Supplies
TP-Link states that dual internal power supplies provide mutual backup, and the package contents list power cords (plural). For an aggregation switch that many access closets hang off, that removes a single point of failure without buying an extra module.
Stack Four Units at Up to 80 Gbps
Up to four units stack over the 10G SFP+ slots — all uplink ports can be used as stacking ports — for up to 80 Gbps stacking bandwidth across four stacking ports.
Lite L3 Routing With RIPng and IPv6 Route Capacity
Static routing, RIP v1/v2, RIPng, OSPF v2/v3, a DHCP server (64 IP pools, 8,000 leases) and DHCP relay are supported, with up to 1,796 IPv4 / 450 IPv6 network routes and 1,024 IPv4 / 890 IPv6 host routes — enough to route between VLANs and sites at the aggregation layer.
Security and Availability Built In
ACLs (IPv4 and IPv6), Dynamic ARP Inspection, IEEE 802.1X with MAB, port security (up to 64 MAC addresses per port), DHCP Snooping and IPv4/IPv6 Source Guard defend the access layer, while ERPS (Ethernet Ring Protection Switching) gives rapid protection and recovery in ring topologies.
Omada SDN: Cloud Management and Zero-Touch Provisioning
Adopted into an Omada Hardware, Software or Cloud-Based Controller, the switch is configured, monitored and upgraded alongside Omada gateways and access points — automatic device discovery, batch configuration and firmware upgrades, abnormal event warnings and reboot schedules. Zero-Touch Provisioning requires Omada Central. Standalone web GUI and CLI management remain available.
Ideal For
Fibre aggregation for multi-building campuses, schools, factories and hotels, and as a small fibre core for Omada networks where redundant power at the aggregation point matters. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and project pricing on request.

Frequently Asked Questions — SG5428XF
Does the SG5428XF need an Omada Controller?
No. The SG5428XF runs standalone through its own web interface and CLI. Adopting it into an Omada Software, Hardware or Cloud-Based Controller is what unlocks central configuration, monitoring, batch firmware management and cloud/app access across every Omada device on site; Zero-Touch Provisioning requires Omada Central.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
Five years local Singapore warranty. Every SG5428XF sold by SourceIT comes with a GST invoice.
Is stock held locally?
SourceIT holds fast-moving Omada lines in Singapore. Anything not in local stock is brought in on indent — ask us for the current lead time before committing to a project date.
Is this model available for project orders?
Yes. TP-Link supplies this model for project deployments; contact SourceIT with your bill of materials for pricing and lead time.
Can SourceIT quote this for a project or tender?
