PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

TP-Link Omada BE5000 Wall Plate Dual-Band Wi-Fi 7 Access Point with PoE Passthrough (EAP725-Wall) - 5 Years Local Warranty

The EAP725-Wall is Omada's BE5000 dual-band Wi-Fi 7 wall-plate access point. It turns a single in-room cable into dual-band Wi-Fi 7 plus three wired downlinks — one 2.5G with PoE passthrough and two Gigabit — giving each hotel room, apartment or meeting room its own private Wi-Fi and wired ports for a TV, phone or desktop.

Dual-Band Wi-Fi 7: 4324 Mbps on 5 GHz and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz

TP-Link rates the EAP725-Wall at up to 4324 Mbps on 5 GHz and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. It supports up to 240 MHz bandwidth on 5 GHz where regulations allow, and is rated for 250+ concurrent clients across about 50 m² (600 ft²) — sized for a single room or suite.

Higher Efficiency with 4K-QAM and Lower Latency with Multi-RUs

4K-QAM packs 12 bits into every symbol, which TP-Link describes as 20% more data transmission than Wi-Fi 6. Multi-RUs let the AP allocate more than one resource unit to a client, reducing latency and interference when several in-room devices are active at once.

Dedicated, Private Wi-Fi Networks for Every Room

TP-Link designs the EAP725-Wall for hospitality, offices, meeting rooms, apartments, villas and dormitories: each room gets its own access point and SSID, with 16 SSIDs (8 per band) available per unit, VLAN mapping, client isolation and captive portal authentication, so guests do not share a network with the room next door.

2.5G Ports with PoE Passthrough

The uplink and one downlink are 2.5G Ethernet, plus two Gigabit downlinks. The 2.5G downlink passes PoE through to a device such as an IP phone: on an 802.3bt input the AP supplies up to 15.4 W of PoE out, on 802.3at up to 7 W. The AP itself draws 17 W maximum. TP-Link notes that if the downstream device needs more than 7 W, the AP requires an 802.3bt input.

Boosted Network Security

Guest networks, SMS login, WPA3-Personal/Enterprise and rogue AP detection come standard, and with an Omada controller the EAP725-Wall supports zero-touch provisioning, multi-site management, a management VLAN and L3 management, so a hotel or MSP can deploy hundreds of rooms from one dashboard.

Ideal For

Singapore hotels, serviced apartments, dormitories, offices and meeting rooms that want per-room Wi-Fi 7 and wired ports from the existing cable run, managed centrally on Omada. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and project pricing on request.

Frequently Asked Questions — EAP725-Wall

Does the EAP725-Wall need an Omada Controller?

No. It can be managed standalone through its web interface. Adopting it into an OC300, OC200, the Software Controller or the Cloud-Based Controller unlocks central configuration, zero-touch provisioning (cloud), seamless roaming, captive portals and cloud/app access.

What PoE does it need?

802.3at or 802.3bt. On 802.3at the passthrough port supplies up to 7 W; for a downstream device above 7 W (up to 15.4 W), use an 802.3bt switch port.

What warranty does SourceIT provide?

Five years local Singapore warranty. Every EAP725-Wall sold by SourceIT comes with a GST invoice.

Is stock held locally?

SourceIT holds fast-moving Omada lines in Singapore. Anything not in local stock is brought in on indent — ask us for the current lead time before committing to a project date.
