AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 Across Two Bands at 1775 Mbps Combined

The EAP603-Outdoor pairs a 1201 Mbps 5 GHz radio with a 574 Mbps 2.4 GHz radio for a combined 1775 Mbps AX1800 rating. The 5 GHz radio runs HE80, an 80 MHz channel width, and 1024-QAM raises throughput per symbol against older 802.11ac gear. OFDMA and MU-MIMO are both implemented, so the AP can pack several clients' small frames into one transmission opportunity and serve multiple spatial streams simultaneously. External Omnidirectional Antennas for 300 m of Coverage

Two external omnidirectional antennas per band give 4 dBi peak gain on 2.4 GHz and 5 dBi on 5 GHz, with a further 4 dBi internal antenna for Bluetooth. A captive portal handles guest onboarding with vouchers, SMS or RADIUS. The AP advertises up to 16 BSSIDs, eight per band, which allows separate staff, guest, camera and IoT networks to run from one outdoor unit with their own VLAN assignments. SSH and SNMP v1/v2c/v3 are available for sites integrating the AP into existing monitoring.

Omada SDN With Mesh and 802.11k/v/r Roaming

Management runs through Omada SDN via the hardware, software or cloud-based controller, with web browser and Omada App access and one-click setup for new units. Seamless roaming uses 802.11k, 802.11v and 802.11r so a client crossing between an indoor AP and this outdoor unit hands off without dropping a session. Band steering moves capable clients to 5 GHz. Omada Mesh is supported, which matters outdoors: a second EAP603 can extend coverage to a gatehouse or far fence line over a wireless backhaul where trenching a cable is impractical.
