Detachable External Antennas Tune the Cell to the Site

The EAP625-Outdoor HD ships with two detachable dual-band omnidirectional antennas at 3.0 dBi on 2.4 GHz and 5.0 dBi on 5 GHz. Being detachable, they can be replaced with directional antennas where the coverage needs to be thrown along a walkway or across a car park rather than radiated equally in all directions — something the internally-antennaed EAP623-Outdoor HD cannot do. IP67 Rated From -30 to 70 °C

The enclosure is IP67: fully dust-tight and able to withstand temporary immersion, with an operating range of -30 to 70 °C and 10-90% non-condensing humidity tolerance. Pole and wall mounting kits plus a waterproof kit are included. AX1800 Dual-Band With Bluetooth and Omada Mesh

A Bluetooth radio is present for on-site provisioning through the Omada App. Omada Mesh is supported, which outdoors is often the deciding feature: a node at the far end of a site can take its uplink wirelessly from a wired neighbour instead of requiring trenching. Seamless roaming, automatic channel assignment and beamforming operate across the estate as they do indoors.

WPA3, Captive Portal and Central Management

Security covers WPA3-Personal and WPA3-Enterprise, WPA2, 802.1X, captive portal authentication, VLAN separation, access control, wireless isolation, a 4,000-entry MAC filter and rogue AP detection. Adopted into an Omada Controller — Cloud-Based, OC300, OC200 or Software — the unit is configured, monitored, backed up and firmware-updated centrally, with email alerts, SNMP v1/v2c/v3 and SSH available for integration with existing monitoring.
