The EAP623-Outdoor HD delivers high-density outdoor coverage without external antennas: AX1800 radios, an IP67 enclosure, internal dual-band omni antennas and a rating of 1,000+ concurrent clients. The slim 280.4 x 106.5 x 56.8 mm body mounts cleanly on a wall or ceiling where a unit with protruding antennas would be exposed or unsightly.
1,000+ Concurrent Clients From an Internal-Antenna Unit
The HD designation is about population, not speed. Where a standard outdoor access point is rated for 250+ clients, the EAP623-Outdoor HD is rated for 1,000+. That is the specification to look for at a covered walkway, a sheltered assembly area, a transport interchange or an F&B terrace at peak. Supporting it are a 4,000-entry MAC filter table, load balancing, band steering and airtime fairness, which together keep a large client population usable rather than merely associated.
Internal Antennas, Slim Body, Clean Installation
Antennas are internal: two dual-band omnidirectional elements at 4.0 dBi on 2.4 GHz and 5.0 dBi on 5 GHz. Nothing protrudes, so there is nothing to snap off, nothing to invite tampering in a public area, and the unit stays within a 106.5 mm depth against the 182.2 mm of the externally-antennaed EAP625-Outdoor HD. Ceiling and wall mounting kits are included. Where the coverage pattern does need shaping, the EAP625-Outdoor HD with detachable antennas is the alternative.
IP67 Sealing Rated From -30 to 70 °C
The enclosure carries an IP67 rating: fully dust-tight and able to withstand temporary immersion, with an operating range of -30 to 70 °C and 10-90% non-condensing humidity tolerance. A waterproof kit is supplied alongside the mounting hardware. For Singapore the binding conditions are heat, driving rain and persistent humidity, all comfortably inside that envelope for permanent outdoor installation.
AX1800 Dual-Band With Mesh and Seamless Roaming
The radios run at 1201 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz across up to 16 SSIDs, 8 per band. CE transmission power reaches 30 dBm EIRP on 5 GHz, the higher outdoor ceiling. Omada Mesh allows a unit at the far end of a site to take its uplink wirelessly from a wired neighbour instead of requiring a trench or a conduit run, and seamless roaming, automatic channel assignment and beamforming operate across the whole estate as they do indoors.
WPA3, Captive Portal and Central Management
Security includes WPA3, WPA2 and WPA in Personal and Enterprise modes, 802.1X, captive portal authentication, VLAN separation, access control, wireless isolation, a 4,000-entry MAC filter and rogue AP detection. Adopted into an Omada Controller — Cloud-Based, OC300, OC200 or Software — the unit is configured, monitored, backed up and firmware-updated centrally, with email alerts, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, NTP and SSH available.

How does it differ from the EAP625-Outdoor HD?
Both are AX1800 high-density outdoor APs with the same 1201/574 Mbps rates and IP67 sealing. The EAP623-Outdoor HD uses internal antennas (2.4 GHz 4.0 dBi, 5 GHz 5.0 dBi) in a slim 280.4 x 106.5 x 56.8 mm body and is rated for 1,000+ clients. The EAP625-Outdoor HD has two detachable external antennas in a wider 280.4 x 182.2 x 56.9 mm body, is rated for 1,020+ clients, and allows the antennas to be swapped for directional types.
Is a PoE injector included?
No. The box contains the access point, installation guide, mounting kit and waterproof kit. Power it from an 802.3at PoE switch port, or buy a 48V passive PoE injector separately. The EAP610-Outdoor is the model in this range that does include an adapter.
Does it need an Omada Controller?
No. It runs standalone through its own web interface. Adopting it into an Omada Software, Hardware or Cloud-Based Controller is what unlocks central configuration, seamless roaming, mesh, firmware management and cloud/app access — at no licence cost.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
