Ultra-Slim Chassis and Flexible PoE+ or DC Power

At Φ160 mm × 33.6 mm the EAP610 is slim enough to sit discreetly on a ceiling tile, and it mounts to a ceiling, a wall or a junction box. Power is deliberately flexible: 802.3at PoE+, passive PoE, or the included DC adapter, with maximum consumption of 11.0 W on PoE or 9.9 W on DC. A draw that low means a modest PoE switch can carry a large number of access points, which matters when the deployment is dozens of units rather than a handful.

Centralised Cloud or Local Management Under Omada SDN

The EAP610 is managed through Omada SDN using a hardware controller, the software controller, or a cloud-based controller, with the whole network administered locally or from the cloud via the web UI or the Omada app. On the security side it supports up to 16 SSIDs for segmented guest access, SMS and voucher authentication for captive-portal onboarding, and WPA3 for worry-free open public networks — so a guest SSID can be encrypted without a shared passphrase.
