PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link Omada AC1350 Gigabit VPN Router (ER605W) - 5 Years Local Warranty
The ER605W is the Wi-Fi version of Omada's entry-level multi-WAN VPN router: five Gigabit Ethernet ports, dual-band AC1350 Wi-Fi with four external antennas, and centralised Omada cloud management, for small offices that want gateway and Wi-Fi in one device without giving up Omada SDN.
AC1350 Dual-Band Wi-Fi With Four External Antennas
The ER605W delivers 867 Mbps on 5 GHz and 450 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. Four 5 dBi external antennas plus a built-in 2.4 GHz antenna extend and concentrate the signal, and the router supports band steering, beamforming, airtime fairness, seamless roaming, guest networks and up to 8 SSIDs (4 per radio).
Five Gigabit Ports With Multi-WAN Load Balancing
1× Gigabit WAN, 2× Gigabit WAN/LAN and 2× Gigabit LAN ports allow up to three WAN connections. Intelligent load balancing, application-optimised routing and link backup (timing and failover) keep a small office online if one broadband line fails, with NAT throughput of around 940 Mbps.
Site-to-Site and Remote-Access VPN
IPsec (3 tunnels), OpenVPN (18 tunnels), PPTP and L2TP (3 tunnels each) are supported, with the ER605W able to connect to up to three OpenVPN, PPTP or L2TP servers as a client. That is sized for a small branch linking back to head office plus a handful of remote workers.
Business-Grade Security Features
DoS defence against TCP/UDP/ICMP floods, TCP scan blocking, IP/MAC/URL filtering, IP-MAC binding and ARP inspection protect the network and data, alongside IP-based bandwidth control and session limits.
Centralised Omada Cloud Management
Adopt the ER605W into Omada Central, an OC200/OC300 Hardware Controller or the Software Controller to manage it with Omada switches and access points, use the Omada App, and provision new sites with Zero-Touch Provisioning through the Cloud-Based Controller.
Ideal For
Small offices, retail shops, clinics and branch sites that want a multi-WAN VPN router with built-in Wi-Fi under Omada cloud management. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and project pricing on request.

Wi-Fi class and rates are as published on TP-Link's Singapore product page (AC1350: 450 Mbps on 2.4 GHz + 867 Mbps on 5 GHz). Some distributor listings describe the ER605W as AC1200 (300 + 867 Mbps); confirm the hardware version on order if the 2.4 GHz rate matters.
Compatibility & Software Support
The ER605W is part of the Omada ecosystem: gateways, switches and access points are managed together from one controller, under one set of policies, with one view of the network. Cloud and app features listed below require the device to be adopted into an Omada Controller.
| Omada SDN Controller | Supported — adopt and manage centrally from Omada Central (Cloud-Based Controller), the Omada Hardware Controller or the Omada Software Controller |
| Omada App | Supported — remote management from iOS and Android |
| Omada Cloud Access | Supported — requires adoption into an Omada Controller |
| Standalone Mode | Supported — the gateway can also be configured on its own via its web interface |
| Zero-Touch Provisioning | Supported — requires the Omada Cloud-Based Controller |
