PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link Omada 8-Port Gigabit L2+ Managed Switch with 2 SFP Slots (SG3210) - 5 Years Local Warranty
The SG3210 (also listed by TP-Link as TL-SG3210) is Omada's 8-port Gigabit L2+ managed switch with two SFP slots — a compact, fanless access switch for branch offices, retail outlets and wiring closets that need proper VLAN, ACL and security features plus fibre uplinks. It runs standalone via web, CLI, SNMP and RMON, or as part of an Omada SDN network managed from the cloud or the Omada App.
Eight Gigabit Ports and Two SFP Slots for Fibre Uplinks
The SG3210 provides 8× 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports and 2× 100/1000 Mbps SFP slots, with both an RJ45 and a Micro-USB console port for out-of-band access. Switching capacity is 20 Gbps with a 14.89 Mpps forwarding rate, an 8K MAC address table, 4.1 Mbit packet buffer and 9 KB jumbo frames — non-blocking for its ten ports. The SFP slots let a remote closet or floor link back to the core over fibre, or create a redundant pair of uplinks.
L2+ Static Routing Keeps Inter-VLAN Traffic Local
Beyond L2 switching, the SG3210 supports 32 IPv4/IPv6 interfaces and 48 static routes, plus static ARP (128 entries), proxy ARP, DHCP server and DHCP relay. That lets a site route between its own VLANs on the switch instead of hair-pinning every packet through the gateway, which TP-Link positions as routing internal traffic for higher efficiency.
Comprehensive Security: 802.1X, ACLs and IP-MAC-Port Binding
Access control covers 802.1X (port- and MAC-based, VLAN assignment, MAB, guest VLAN), RADIUS and TACACS+ AAA, time-based MAC/IP/IPv6 ACLs, IP-MAC-Port Binding with DHCP Snooping and ARP Inspection, IPv6 ND detection and source guard, DoS defence, port security up to 64 MACs per port, storm control and port isolation. Management access is protected with HTTPS (SSLv3/TLS 1.2) and SSHv1/v2.
ERPS, OAM and DDM for Resilient, Diagnosable Links
ERPS provides rapid protection and recovery in a ring topology, while 802.3ah Ethernet Link OAM, DLDP and DDM help detect failing fibre links and SFP modules before they cause outages. ISP-oriented features — L2PT, PPPoE ID insertion and QinQ (port-based and selective) — are also available, configured in standalone mode.
Omada SDN Cloud Management or Standalone CLI/SNMP
Adopted into an Omada Cloud-Based, Hardware or Software Controller, the SG3210 gains automatic device discovery, batch configuration and firmware upgrades, intelligent network monitoring, abnormal event warnings and reboot schedules, with remote access through the Omada App and Zero-Touch Provisioning via the Cloud-Based Controller. It is fanless for silent operation, draws a maximum of 6.84 W, and ships with a rackmount kit and rubber feet for rack or desktop installation.
Ideal For
Singapore SMBs, branch offices, retail chains, schools and managed-service providers that want an 8-port managed access switch with fibre uplinks, L2+ routing and enterprise-grade security, managed centrally alongside Omada gateways and access points. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and project pricing on request.

Frequently Asked Questions — SG3210
Does the SG3210 need an Omada Controller?
No. The SG3210 runs standalone through its web GUI, CLI and SNMP. Adopting it into an Omada Software, Hardware or Cloud-Based Controller is what unlocks central configuration, monitoring, batch firmware management and cloud/app access across every Omada device on site.
Is the SG3210 the same switch as the TL-SG3210?
TP-Link's product page lists the model as "SG3210 (TL-SG3210)". Check the hardware version on the label if you are matching units to an existing installation.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
Five years local Singapore warranty. Every SG3210 sold by SourceIT comes with a GST invoice.
Is stock held locally?
SourceIT holds fast-moving Omada lines in Singapore. Anything not in local stock is brought in on indent — ask us for the current lead time before committing to a project date.
Can SourceIT quote this for a project or tender?
Yes. Send the bill of materials and we will quote the whole Omada build — controller, gateway, switching, access points and optics — with local warranty and support.
