The Beam Bridge 5 UR KIT is a pre-configured PAIR of Omada 5 GHz ultra-range bridges — one kit contains two bridge units (a main bridge and a sub-bridge) that auto-pair out of the box to form a single point-to-point link. With 23 dBi dual-polarised directional antennas, TP-Link rates the link at up to 15 km (9.3 mi), for joining buildings, sites or camera poles where running fibre is not practical.
Two Bridges, Pre-Paired for an Instant Point-to-Point Link
TP-Link supplies the kit preconfigured for instant PtP auto-pairing: the official datasheet lists two Beam Bridge 5 UR units, two Passive PoE adapters, two power cords and two mounting kits in the box. A Role Switch DIP switch and a System Mode Selection button set each end's role, so the link can be stood up without configuring either unit from scratch.
Up to 15 km Ultra-Range Transmission
External 2×2 dual-polarised directional MIMO antennas of 23 dBi with a tight 9° horizontal by 7° vertical beamwidth concentrate the signal for long distance — TP-Link publishes a transmission distance of 15 km (9.3 mi) on 5 GHz, at a signal rate of up to 867 Mbps (IEEE 802.11a/n/ac, 20/40/80 MHz channels).
App-Guided Alignment and Speed Test
Long links live or die on alignment. The Omada App provides app-guided antenna alignment plus an instant speed test so the installer can verify the link on the pole before leaving site, and the bridge supports channel optimisation and automatic channel selection.
Simple PoE Deployment
Each unit has one Gigabit RJ45 port (PoE in) and accepts 802.3af PoE or 24V/48V Passive PoE, with a maximum consumption of 15.8 W. A passive PoE adapter is supplied for each end, so no separate PoE switch is needed at the remote site.
Weatherproof and Protected
An IP65 weatherproof enclosure, ±6 kV Ethernet-port lightning protection and a -40 °C to 70 °C operating range suit rooftop and pole installations; pole mounting kits are included.
Standalone or Omada SDN Managed
Run the link standalone, or adopt both ends into Omada Central, an Omada Hardware Controller or Software Controller for remote centralised monitoring, firmware updates, email alerts and zero-touch provisioning.
Ideal For
Linking two buildings, a guardhouse, a remote warehouse or a CCTV pole back to the main network across a car park, campus, estate or worksite — any Singapore site where a cabled or fibre run is impractical. Signal rate is the physical rate derived from IEEE 802.11; the 15 km distance is calculated from TP-Link laboratory testing and real links depend on line of sight, antenna alignment and interference. Lightning/ESD protection depends on proper setup, grounding and cable shielding.
Compatibility & Software Support
Both bridges in the kit can run standalone (the kit auto-pairs) or be adopted into Omada SDN for central management alongside Omada gateways, switches and APs. TP-Link notes cloud access requires an Omada controller.

Is this one bridge or a pair?
A pair. One Beam Bridge 5 UR KIT contains two pre-paired bridge units — everything needed for one point-to-point link, with a PoE adapter, power cord and mounting kit for each end. You do not need to buy a second kit for the other end.
Does the Beam Bridge 5 UR KIT need an Omada Controller?
No. The kit is preconfigured to auto-pair and runs standalone. Adopting both ends into Omada Central or an Omada Hardware/Software Controller adds remote monitoring, alerts, firmware management and cloud access.
