TP-Link Omada 5GHz 867Mbps Indoor/Outdoor Wireless Bridge
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link Omada 5GHz 867Mbps Indoor/Outdoor Wireless Bridge (EAP211-Bridge KIT) - 5 Years Local Warranty
The EAP211-Bridge KIT is Omada's 5 GHz point-to-point bridge, shipped as a pre-paired pair of units. It is the step up from the 2.4 GHz EAP100-Bridge KIT: 867 Mbps rather than 300 Mbps, 1 km rather than 500 m, Gigabit rather than Fast Ethernet ports, and 1-to-4 point-to-multipoint pairing instead of a simple link.
867 Mbps Over 5 GHz at Up to 1 km
Each unit runs IEEE 802.11a/n/ac on the 5 GHz band for wireless data rates up to 867 Mbps, with a rated transmission distance of up to 1 km (0.62 mi) in clear line of sight. Choosing 5 GHz rather than 2.4 GHz gives wider channels and a far less congested band, which is what makes the higher rate achievable over distance. That throughput is the practical difference between carrying a couple of cameras and backhauling a whole remote building's traffic across a site.
Dual-Polarised 10 dBi Directional Antennas
The bridge uses an internal 2x2 dual-polarised directional MIMO antenna with 10 dBi gain on 5 GHz, shaped to a 60-degree horizontal and 30-degree vertical beamwidth. Concentrating energy into a narrow beam rather than radiating omnidirectionally is what buys the link both its range and its resistance to interference from nearby Wi-Fi. The trade-off is that aiming matters: a bridge a few degrees off axis loses signal quickly, which is why the alignment tooling described below is part of the product rather than an accessory.
Pre-Paired Out of the Box, With 1-to-4 PtMP Expansion
Both units ship preconfigured for instant auto-pairing, so the link comes up as soon as the two ends are powered - no portal login, no SSID or key entry. Omada calls the underlying mechanism SmartBridging. Beyond a simple point-to-point hop, the kit supports point-to-multipoint auto-pairing for up to 1-to-4 multi-bridge connections: you dial the role switch on each unit and press the pair button. That lets one central bridge feed several outbuildings without configuring a wireless distribution system by hand.
App-Guided Alignment and Built-In Speed Testing
Aiming a 30-degree vertical beam across a kilometre is the hard part of any bridge install. The Omada app provides visualised guided alignment, showing signal strength in real time as the unit is swung, so a single installer can peak the link without a helper at the far end reading numbers. An instant speed test then verifies the link actually delivers before the ladder comes down. Antenna alignment and channel optimisation are both exposed as functions rather than left to trial and error.
Three Gigabit Ports and Three Ways to Power It
Each bridge carries three Gigabit Ethernet ports, so cameras or other devices can be plugged in directly at the far end of the link without adding a switch to the pole. Power is equally flexible: 802.3af PoE, 24 V passive PoE, or 12 V DC, the last of which is compatible with TP-Link's solar power supply system for sites with no mains at all. Maximum draw is 11.5 W. For a remote gate, car park or paddock, that combination often removes both the switch and the electrician from the job.
IP65 Housing Rated -40 to +70 Degrees C
The enclosure is IP65 weatherproof with a rated operating range of -40 to +70 degrees C and plus/minus 6 kV common-mode lightning protection, in a 79 x 60 x 224 mm body. Management is equally deployment-friendly: run the pair in standalone mode via the web UI, or adopt them into Omada SDN through the hardware, software or cloud-based controller for remote centralised monitoring alongside the rest of the Omada estate. That means a bridge on a far mast can be checked and firmware-updated without a site visit.
Ideal For
Singapore businesses, schools, hotels and managed-service providers building on Omada, and IT teams that want a wireless bridge kit they can adopt, monitor and update centrally rather than box by box. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and project pricing on request.

Frequently Asked Questions — EAP211-Bridge KIT
Does the EAP211-Bridge KIT need an Omada Controller?
No. The EAP211-Bridge KIT runs standalone through its own web interface. Adopting it into an Omada Software, Hardware or Cloud-Based Controller is what unlocks central configuration, monitoring, firmware management and cloud/app access across every Omada device on site — at no licence cost.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
Five years local Singapore warranty. Every EAP211-Bridge KIT sold by SourceIT comes with a GST invoice.
Is stock held locally?
SourceIT holds fast-moving Omada lines in Singapore. Anything not in local stock is brought in on indent — ask us for the current lead time before committing to a project date.
Can SourceIT quote this for a project or tender?
Yes. Send the bill of materials and we will quote the whole Omada build — controller, gateway, switching, access points and optics — with local warranty and support.
