TP-Link 5-Port 10/100Mbps Desktop Switch with 4-Port PoE+ (TL-SF1005P) - 5 Years Local Warranty
The TL-SF1005P is the smallest PoE+ switch in TP-Link's Fast Ethernet range: four 802.3at powered ports and one uplink, a 67 W budget, and a 100 mm fanless chassis barely larger than a paperback. It powers a camera pair, a door station or an access point from a ceiling void, a counter or a cupboard where nothing larger would fit.
67 W Across Four 802.3at PoE+ Ports
Ports 1 to 4 are IEEE 802.3af/at compliant against a 67 W system budget — nearly 17 W per port with all four loaded, which brings real 802.3at devices within reach rather than only 802.3af ones. PTZ domes, IR-illuminated cameras, video door stations and dual-band access points all sit inside that envelope. Port 5 is the data-only uplink. Power negotiation is automatic, and a non-PoE device connected to a powered port simply receives data.
A 100 mm Footprint That Fits Where Switches Normally Do Not
At 100 × 98 × 25 mm the TL-SF1005P is close to square and small enough to sit inside a ceiling void, behind a monitor, in a shallow wall box or on a shop counter. It is fanless and therefore silent, which matters when the only available position is in an occupied room. The external 53.5 VDC / 1.31 A adapter keeps the mains side of the supply outside the chassis, and draw is 1.9 W with nothing powered against 74 W at a full 67 W PoE load.
Extend and Priority Modes Without a Configuration Screen
Extend mode carries power and data past the 100 m Ethernet limit at reduced throughput, which reaches a camera at the end of a long run without a mid-span cabinet. Priority mode reserves forwarding capacity for the first ports when the switch is busy, keeping camera or voice traffic ahead of a bulk transfer. Both are hardware selections rather than settings in a web interface, so the behaviour survives power cuts, resets and a change of installer.
1 Gbps Fabric, 2K MAC Table, Store-and-Forward
All five ports are 10/100 Mbps with auto negotiation and auto MDI/MDIX on a 1 Gbps non-blocking fabric at 0.744 Mpps — every port full duplex simultaneously, nothing oversubscribed. A 2K MAC address table suits a small edge segment, 2 KB jumbo frame support covers slightly oversized payloads, and store-and-forward switching validates each frame before forwarding it so corrupted frames do not propagate. IEEE 802.3x flow control handles congestion automatically.
Where It Fits Against the TL-SF1006P
The TL-SF1005P and TL-SF1006P share the same 67 W budget, the same four 802.3at PoE+ ports and the same mode buttons. The difference is the data side: five ports in a 100 mm box against six ports in a 158 mm box. Choose the 1005P when the space is tight and one uplink is all you need; choose the 1006P when a recorder or a router has to share the switch alongside the uplink.

Compatibility & Software Support
The TL-SF1005P is an unmanaged switch. Extend and Priority modes are hardware selections on the unit; there is no web interface, no CLI and no SNMP agent, and it cannot be adopted into an Omada SDN Controller or managed from the Omada app. Where VLANs, 802.1X or central monitoring are required, SourceIT can quote a JetStream smart or Omada-managed switch.

TL-SF1005P or TL-SF1006P?
Same 67 W PoE budget and the same four 802.3at PoE+ ports. The 1005P has one uplink port in a 100 mm box; the 1006P has two data ports in a 158 mm box. Choose on space and on whether a recorder or router needs its own port.
How many cameras will 67 W run?
Four in most installations. A fixed-dome 802.3af camera draws 4-8 W and an 802.3at PTZ dome 15-25 W, so a mixed set of four fits. Send SourceIT the camera model list and we will calculate the real load.
