PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link Omada 5 GHz 867 Mbps Scalable Central Hub Sector Bridge for Long-Range Indoor/Outdoor Connectivity (Sector Bridge 5) - 5 Years Local Warranty
The Sector Bridge 5 is the hub end of Omada's Flex/Sector bridging system. Its 120° wide-beam directional antennas let one Sector Bridge serve up to 32 Flex Bridge 5 endpoints over TDMA point-to-multipoint, or run a single point-to-point link, at up to 5 km and 867 Mbps on 5 GHz — a way to bring many outlying cameras, gates or buildings back to one network core.
One Hub for up to 32 Flex Bridges via TDMA
TP-Link specifies PtMP operation with up to 32 Flex Bridge 5 endpoints per Sector Bridge, scheduled with TDMA so stations take turns on the air rather than contending, which keeps a multipoint network predictable as it grows. TP-Link notes this capacity is achievable only when used with Flex Bridge 5 and is based on laboratory testing.
120° Wide Beamwidth for Multipoint Deployment
Internal 2 × 16 dBi directional antennas on 5 GHz have a 120° horizontal by 13° vertical beam, so a single hub covers a wide sector — a whole estate, campus or worksite — from one mast or rooftop.
3.1 mi (5 km) Long-Range 5 GHz Links
TP-Link publishes a transmission distance of 5,000 m (3.1 mi) at a 5 GHz signal rate of up to 867 Mbps with 2×2 MU-MIMO. A 2.4 GHz radio (1 × 4 dBi) is used for device management only.
DIP-Switch Pairing
A Pairing Code DIP switch lets installers match the hub to its Flex Bridges quickly, without logging into each unit.
Flexible Power and Rugged Housing
Power by 12V DC/1A, 802.3af PoE or 24V Passive PoE — a passive PoE adapter (for dry indoor use only) is included. Maximum draw is 9 W on DC and 10.5 W on PoE. The housing is IP66 weatherproof with lightning/ESD protection (±8 kV air, ±4 kV contact, ±6 kV common mode), rated -40 °C to 70 °C, with pole and wall mounting kits included.
Standalone or Omada SDN Managed
Manage the hub on its own, or adopt it into an Omada Cloud-Based, Hardware or Software Controller for central monitoring, firmware updates, email alerts and zero-touch provisioning; the Omada App assists with alignment.
Ideal For
Estates, campuses, ports, construction sites, farms and CCTV projects in Singapore that need to connect many remote points — cameras, guardhouses, gates or outbuildings — back to one location using Flex Bridge 5 endpoints. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and project pricing on request.

The 32-endpoint capacity is achievable only when used with Flex Bridge 5 and is based on TP-Link laboratory testing; coverage is likewise a laboratory figure. Specifications are taken from TP-Link's US Omada page, because the Singapore Sector Bridge 5 page currently displays Flex Bridge 5 content. TP-Link does not publish a weight row for this model, so none is claimed here.
Compatibility & Software Support
The Sector Bridge 5 works as the central hub for Flex Bridge 5 endpoints (point-to-multipoint, up to 32) or in a point-to-point pair. It can run standalone or be adopted into Omada SDN alongside Omada gateways, switches and APs; TP-Link notes cloud access requires an Omada controller.
