PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link Omada 4G Cat4 N300 Outdoor PoE Gateway (ER603WP-4G-Outdoor) - 5 Years Local Warranty
The ER603WP-4G-Outdoor is Omada's compact outdoor 4G gateway: a 4G Cat4 modem, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 4 and three Gigabit ports (one PoE in, two PoE out) in an IP55 weatherproof housing with 4 kV lightning protection, designed to power and connect a camera or access point where there is no fixed line or mains outlet.
4G Cat4 Internet Up to 150 Mbps
A single Nano SIM slot feeds a 4G Cat4 modem rated at up to 150 Mbps downlink and 50 Mbps uplink, with two external LTE antennas and 3G fallback. Load balancing between 4G and Ethernet WAN lets the unit act as primary or backup internet for a small remote site.
One PoE In, Two PoE Out
Port 1 accepts passive, 802.3af, 802.3at or 802.3bt PoE input, and ports 2-3 supply passive/802.3af/at PoE output — so one cable from an upstream PoE source can power the gateway and two downstream devices such as IP cameras or outdoor APs. TP-Link notes that PoE-out requires 802.3bt PoE input; a 12 V/1 A DC input is also supported and a passive PoE adapter is included.
IP55 Weatherproof With 4 kV Lightning Protection
The compact 100.4 × 38.7 × 174.8 mm enclosure is IP55 weatherproof with 4 kV lightning protection, operates from -30 °C to 60 °C, and mounts on a wall or pole with the kits supplied. TP-Link notes lightning protection also depends on proper setup, grounding and cable shielding.
Site-to-Site VPN and Omada Security
IPsec, PPTP, L2TP, OpenVPN, WireGuard and GRE (Standalone Mode) VPNs connect the site back to head office, and SD-WAN is available in Controller Mode. Security features include stateful and country-based ACLs, a DNS proxy with DNSSEC, DoH and DoT, web/URL filtering, flood defence and ARP inspection, with 50,000 concurrent sessions.
Centralised Cloud Management and ZTP
Adopt the gateway into Omada Central, a Hardware Controller or the Software Controller to monitor and configure it alongside the rest of the Omada estate, including Zero-Touch Provisioning. The Essentials tier of the Omada cloud-based controller is free; the Standard tier with advanced features requires a licence.
Ideal For
Remote CCTV positions, car parks, farms, kiosks and small outdoor sites that need a low-power 4G link with PoE pass-through for one or two devices. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and project pricing on request.

TP-Link's pages disagree on the Wi-Fi rate: the overview copy says "Wi-Fi 4, Support 150 Mbps on 2.4 GHz", while the specification table (and the N300 product name) gives 2.4 GHz: 300 Mbps. Both are reproduced as published. The Wi-Fi is 2.4 GHz only.
The specification table was taken from TP-Link's Omada Australia product page because the Singapore page does not publish one. Actual 4G speeds vary with the service plan, network capacity and environment.
Compatibility & Software Support
The ER603WP-4G-Outdoor is part of the Omada ecosystem: gateways, switches and access points are managed together from one controller, under one set of policies, with one view of the network. Cloud and app features listed below require the device to be adopted into an Omada Controller.
| Omada SDN Controller | Supported — adopt and manage centrally from Omada Central (Cloud-Based Controller), the Omada Hardware Controller or the Omada Software Controller |
| Omada App | Supported — remote management from iOS and Android |
| Omada Cloud Access | Supported — requires adoption into an Omada Controller |
| Standalone Mode | Supported — the gateway can also be configured on its own via its web interface |
| Zero-Touch Provisioning | Supported — requires the Omada Cloud-Based Controller |

Frequently Asked Questions — ER603WP-4G-Outdoor
Does the ER603WP-4G-Outdoor need an Omada Controller?
No. The ER603WP-4G-Outdoor runs standalone through its own web interface. Adopting it into an Omada Software, Hardware or Cloud-Based Controller is what unlocks central configuration, monitoring, firmware management and cloud/app access across every Omada device on site — SD-WAN is a controller-only feature.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
Five years local Singapore warranty. Every ER603WP-4G-Outdoor sold by SourceIT comes with a GST invoice.
Is stock held locally?
