TP-Link 24-Port 10/100Mbps + 2-Port Gigabit Unmanaged PoE+ Switch (TL-SL1226P) - 5 Years Local Warranty
The TL-SL1226P puts 24 PoE+ powered Fast Ethernet ports and a 250 W budget into a 1U rackmount chassis with no configuration to do at all. Two Gigabit uplinks and two combo SFP slots carry the aggregate load back to the core. It is the plug-in answer for a camera or phone floor where a managed switch would be an unnecessary expense.
24 PoE+ Ports Sharing a 250 W System Budget
All 24 access ports are 802.3at/802.3af compliant and can power an IP camera, an access point, a VoIP handset or a door reader directly over the data cable, removing every injector and local power supply from the ceiling. A 250 W system budget is generous for this port count — enough to run a full bank of 802.3af fixed cameras, or a mixed load where a handful of 802.3at devices draw more heavily while the rest sit low. No configuration is required to enable power on any port.
Two Gigabit Uplinks Plus Two Combo SFP Slots
Two 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports and two combo Gigabit SFP slots handle backhaul. Because the 24 access ports are Fast Ethernet, peak aggregate demand is 2.4 Gbps, which two Gigabit uplinks carry comfortably in practice — one to the core switch and one to an NVR or server. The SFP option matters in buildings where the comms room is far from the camera floor or where electrical isolation between blocks is required, since fibre carries past the 100 m copper limit.
8.8 Gbps Non-Blocking Fabric With Store-and-Forward Switching
The switch delivers 8.8 Gbps switching capacity against a 6.5472 Mpps forwarding rate, sized so every port can run full duplex simultaneously without the backplane becoming the constraint. An 8K MAC address table is well beyond what a 26-port edge switch needs, so it will not start flooding on a busy segment, and 10 KB jumbo frame support handles the larger payloads produced by high-resolution camera streams and bulk file transfers.
Rackmount Steel Chassis With Two Fans and a Lock Point
The 440 × 180 × 44 mm steel housing is a standard 1U width and ships with two mounting brackets and fittings. Two fans keep the PoE circuitry within temperature across the rated 0-50 °C operating range, which matters in Singapore comms cupboards that are not always air-conditioned. A physical security lock point lets the unit be secured in an open rack or a shared riser. Power is universal 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz.
Unmanaged by Design — Nothing to Configure, Nothing to Break
There is no web interface, no CLI and no controller adoption on this model. For a floor of cameras or handsets on a single flat network, that is the point: the switch is racked, patched and powered, and there is no configuration state to lose, no firmware policy to maintain and no credential to rotate. Where VLAN separation, 802.1X or central monitoring are genuinely needed, the managed JetStream and Omada switch ranges cover the same port counts.

Compatibility & Software Support
The TL-SL1226P is an unmanaged switch. It has no web interface, no CLI and no SNMP agent, and it cannot be adopted into an Omada SDN Controller or managed from the Omada app. It forwards traffic and supplies PoE from the moment it is powered on. Where central management, VLANs or 802.1X are required, ask SourceIT to quote an Omada-managed or JetStream smart switch of the same port count.

Frequently Asked Questions — TL-SL1226P
How does this differ from the TL-SL1218P?
Port count and PoE budget. The TL-SL1226P has 24 PoE+ ports on a 250 W budget with two Gigabit uplinks and two combo SFP slots; the TL-SL1218P has 16 PoE+ ports on a 150 W budget with two Gigabit uplinks and one combo SFP slot. Both are unmanaged 1U rackmount units.
Can I set VLANs or monitor port traffic?
No. This is an unmanaged switch with no configuration interface. If you need VLAN separation, port statistics, 802.1X or central monitoring, SourceIT can quote an equivalent JetStream smart or Omada-managed switch.
Are the 24 access ports Gigabit?
No — they are 10/100 Mbps. Only the two RJ45 uplinks and the two combo SFP slots run at Gigabit. For most IP cameras and VoIP phones 100 Mbps per port is ample, but check your device specifications if you are powering high-bitrate multi-sensor cameras.
