TP-Link Omada 16-Port 10GE SFP+ L2+ Managed Switch (SX3016F) - 5 Years Local Warranty
The SX3016F is a 16-slot 10-Gigabit aggregation switch built for networks that have outgrown a handful of 10G links. A 320 Gbps non-blocking fabric, dual redundant power supplies, static routing across 128 IP interfaces and a physical security lock put it in the wiring-centre or small-datacentre class, in a single 440 x 220 x 44 mm rack unit.
Sixteen 10G SFP+ Slots on a Non-Blocking 320 Gbps Fabric
Sixteen 10GE SFP+ slots at 320 Gbps of switching capacity means every port can run full duplex at line rate simultaneously - the fabric is not the constraint. A 238.08 Mpps forwarding rate holds that rate down to minimum frame sizes, and a 32 K MAC table, 24 Mbit packet buffer and 9 KB jumbo frames handle the large flows and deep queues that storage replication, backup windows and video production generate. All-optical ports let each link use the right medium for its distance.
Dual Redundant Power Supplies
The SX3016F ships with dual redundant power supplies accepting 100-240 V AC, so the switch survives the loss of one feed or one PSU. On an aggregation switch that matters more than on an access switch: everything below it depends on this box staying up, and a single power fault would otherwise take out a whole floor or wing. Feeding the two supplies from separate circuits, or one from a UPS, is the configuration this hardware is designed to allow.
Static Routing Across 128 IP Interfaces
Beyond switching, the SX3016F carries 128 IP interfaces with static routing across 48 IPv4 and IPv6 routes, plus DHCP server and DHCP relay. That allows inter-VLAN traffic to be routed in hardware at the aggregation layer instead of hairpinning back to the firewall, which both removes a bottleneck and keeps east-west traffic off the gateway. VLAN support runs to 4K groups with MAC VLAN, protocol VLAN, QinQ and voice VLAN.
Enterprise Security and Multicast Control
Security covers IP-MAC-Port Binding with 512 entries, 802.1X, AAA with TACACS+, port isolation, storm control and encrypted management over HTTPS, SSH and SSL. ACLs are time-based and available on MAC, IP, IPv6 and packet content with mirroring, redirect and rate-limit policies. For multicast-heavy sites the switch holds 1,000 IGMP groups with IGMP and MLD snooping and multicast filtering, which keeps IPTV, digital signage and multicast video off ports that never asked for it.
ERPS, DDM and Central Omada Management
Advanced features include ERPS ring protection, DDM for monitoring optical transceiver health, L2PT and 802.3ah OAM - the tooling you need when links leave the building. The switch is adopted into the Omada Cloud-Based, Software or Hardware Controller for automatic device discovery, batch configuration, batch firmware upgrading and Zero-Touch Provisioning, alongside standalone Web GUI, CLI, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, RMON and LLDP. One fan and a physical security lock complete a 32.74 W chassis.

Does the SX3016F have redundant power?
Yes. Omada specifies dual redundant power supplies accepting 100-240 V AC, and two power cords are supplied in the box.
Can it route between VLANs?
Yes. It supports 128 IP interfaces with static routing across 48 IPv4 and IPv6 routes, plus DHCP server and relay, so inter-VLAN traffic can be routed at the aggregation layer rather than at the firewall.
How does it differ from the SX3032F?
The SX3032F doubles the port count to 32 SFP+ slots with a 640 Gbps fabric, two fans and a deeper 330 mm chassis. The SX3016F is 16 slots, 320 Gbps, one fan and 220 mm deep.
Are transceivers included?
No. SFP+ optics and DAC cables are ordered separately — tell SourceIT the distances and fibre type and we will specify them with the switch.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
Five years local Singapore warranty. Every SX3016F sold by SourceIT comes with a GST invoice.
