TP-Link Omada 10-Port Gigabit Easy Managed Switch with 8-Port PoE+ 63W
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link Omada 10-Port Gigabit Easy Managed Switch with 8-Port PoE+ (ES210GP) - 5 Years Local Warranty
The ES210GP is the entry point of Omada's 10-port Easy Managed PoE+ line: eight PoE+ ports, one Gigabit RJ45 and one Gigabit SFP/RJ45 combo uplink, running on a 63 W power budget. It shares its port layout, 20 Gbps fabric and feature set with the higher-powered ES210GMP, and the PoE budget is the distinction - 63 W here against 123 W there. Fanless, metal-cased and controller-ready.
Eight PoE+ Ports on a 63 W Budget for Small Camera and AP Sites
All eight Gigabit access ports deliver 802.3af/at PoE+ with up to 30 W available to any single port, drawn from a 63 W system budget fed by the supplied 53.5 V/1.31 A adapter. That figure is the number to plan against: it comfortably carries a handful of fixed IP cameras or a pair of access points plus accessories, but a site loading every port heavily wants the 123 W ES210GMP instead. Power is allocated from the shared pool, so a single 30 W PTZ and several low-draw bullet cameras coexist happily.
250 m Extend Mode Reaches Cameras Beyond the 100 m Limit
Enabling Extend Mode pushes PoE and data up to 820 ft (250 m) over standard copper, well past the 100 m Ethernet ceiling, which gets power and video to gate, car park and perimeter positions without an intermediate cabinet. The trade-off is explicit in Omada's own specification: the affected port drops to 10 Mbps. That is ample for a single standard-definition or lightly compressed camera feed but not for 4K, so it is a per-port tool for awkward runs rather than a site-wide setting.
Remote Camera Reboot and Loop Prevention Cut Out Site Visits
Under an Omada controller the ES210GP can power-cycle a connected camera remotely, clearing the most common cause of a dead feed without anyone climbing to the device. Automatic loop prevention with loopback detection independently handles the other classic failure: a patch lead accidentally looped back into the switch, which would otherwise saturate the segment with broadcast traffic. Cable diagnostics round this out, letting you test a suspect run from the interface and distinguish a faulty cable from a faulty endpoint before dispatching anyone.
20 Gbps Switching, VLANs and Eight-Queue QoS
The fabric provides 20 Gbps switching capacity and 14.88 Mpps forwarding, full line rate for ten Gigabit ports, with an 8K MAC table, a 4 Mbit packet buffer and 15 KB jumbo frame support. Segmentation runs from simple MTU VLAN and port-based VLAN up to 802.1Q tag VLAN with a maximum of 32 groups and 4K VIDs. QoS can classify by port, 802.1p or DSCP into eight priority queues scheduled weighted round robin, while port-based rate limiting and multi-mode storm control keep any one device from monopolising the uplink.
Copper or Fibre Uplink via the Gigabit Combo Port
Beyond the eight PoE+ ports, the ES210GP adds a plain Gigabit RJ45 port and a Gigabit SFP/RJ45 combo slot. The combo gives you a fibre option for the uplink where distance, lightning exposure or electrical interference rules out copper, and a copper option where it does not, without paying for a port you will never use. IGMP snooping v1/v2/v3 with fast leave and 802.3x flow control keep multicast and congestion behaviour sane on that uplink; LLDP and port mirroring assist with topology discovery and troubleshooting.
Fanless Metal Build With Web GUI or Omada Controller Management
The chassis is a fanless metal enclosure at 209 x 126 x 26 mm with desktop and wall-mount options, rated 0 to 40 degrees C and protected to plus/minus 6 kV surge - silent enough for a reception area, robust enough for a comms cupboard. Management is standalone via web GUI, or centralised by adopting the switch into an Omada Cloud-Based, Hardware or Software Controller for browser and Omada app access, automatic device discovery, batch configuration and unified firmware upgrades. Zero-Touch Provisioning requires Omada Central.
Ideal For
Singapore businesses, schools, hotels and managed-service providers building on Omada, and IT teams that want a switch they can adopt, monitor and update centrally rather than box by box. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and project pricing on request.

Compatibility & Software Support
The ES210GP is part of the Omada ecosystem: gateways, switches and access points are managed together from one controller, under one set of policies, with one view of the network. Cloud and app features listed below require the device to be adopted into an Omada Controller.
| Omada SDN Controller | Supported — adopt and manage centrally from the Omada Software Controller, Hardware Controller or Cloud-Based Controller |
| Omada App | Supported — remote management from iOS and Android |
| Omada Cloud Access | Supported — no licence fee for cloud management |
| Standalone Mode | Supported — the device can also be configured on its own via its web interface |

Frequently Asked Questions — ES210GP
Does the ES210GP need an Omada Controller?
No. The ES210GP runs standalone through its own web interface. Adopting it into an Omada Software, Hardware or Cloud-Based Controller is what unlocks central configuration, monitoring, firmware management and cloud/app access across every Omada device on site — at no licence cost.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
Five years local Singapore warranty. Every ES210GP sold by SourceIT comes with a GST invoice.
How should I size the PoE budget?
The total PoE budget is in the Technical Specifications above, and it is a system total rather than a per-port guarantee — the ports cannot all draw their maximum at once. Add up the real draw of every powered device you intend to connect and leave headroom.
Is stock held locally?
SourceIT holds fast-moving Omada lines in Singapore. Anything not in local stock is brought in on indent — ask us for the current lead time before committing to a project date.
Can SourceIT quote this for a project or tender?
Yes. Send the bill of materials and we will quote the whole Omada build — controller, gateway, switching, access points and optics — with local warranty and support.
