TP-Link VIGI 5MP Full-Color Turret Network Camera (InSight S455 4mm) - 5 Years Local Warranty
The TP-Link InSight S455 is a 5MP full-colour turret network camera with a 4 mm F1.6 fixed lens, white-light and IR illumination, People & Vehicle Analytics, two-way audio and an IP67 metal housing. It runs on PoE or 12V DC and records to a microSD card or a VIGI NVR.
5MP Full-Colour Imaging
A 1/2.7" progressive scan CMOS sensor with an F1.6 aperture records at up to 2880 x 1620. Four white LEDs and four 850 nm IR LEDs each have a stated range of 30 m, so night footage can be kept in colour or switched to IR.
4 mm Fixed Lens
The 4 mm lens is the narrower of the two S455 versions (88° horizontal) with longer DORI distances, suited to entrances, driveways and building perimeters.
People & Vehicle Analytics and Active Defence
Human and vehicle classification reduces false alerts, and People & Vehicle Analytics lets you search recorded footage by attribute when used with VIGI specified software. Alarm linkage includes an audible warning and white light flashing, and two-way audio is supported through the built-in microphone and speaker.
IP67 Metal Housing with Local Recording
The metal turret housing is rated IP67, with an operating range of -30 to 60 °C. A microSD slot takes cards up to 512 GB (card not included), and the camera runs on 802.3af/at PoE or 12V DC.

Does the InSight S455 record in colour at night?
Yes. It has four white LEDs as well as four IR LEDs, each with a stated range of 30 m, and TP-Link lists a minimum illumination of 0.005 Lux (0 Lux with IR/white light).
Can it record without an NVR?
Yes. The built-in slot takes a microSD card up to 512 GB (not included), and memory card recording is one of the listed alarm linkage actions. It can also record to a VIGI NVR.
Is it suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. TP-Link rates the metal housing IP67 with an operating temperature of -30 to 60 °C, and waterproof cable attachments are included.
What is needed for People & Vehicle Analytics?
