TP-Link InSight S345-4G 4MP Outdoor Full-Color 4G Bullet Network Camera, 4mm Lens (InSight S345-4G(4mm)) - 5 Years Local Warranty
The InSight S345-4G is TP-Link's VIGI 4MP outdoor full-colour bullet camera with a built-in 4G Cat 4 modem and three 10/100 LAN ports. It needs no fixed broadband at the site: insert a Nano-SIM and the camera streams over the mobile network, while the three LAN ports share that connection with up to three downstream devices such as further cameras. TP-Link positions it for pairing with solar power systems on sites where running cable is impractical.
4G Cat 4 and Three LAN Ports for Cable-Free Sites
The cellular modem supports LTE-FDD bands 1/3/5/7/8/20/28, LTE-TDD bands 38/40/41 and WCDMA bands 1/5/8, at up to 150 Mbps downlink and 50 Mbps uplink, through two external omni-directional dipole antennas. TP-Link describes the three RJ45 10/100 LAN ports as an industry first, enabling simultaneous connectivity for up to three devices — so one SIM can serve a small cluster of equipment at a construction site, remote gate, plantation, pump house or temporary event.
4MP Detail With a 4 mm F1.6 Lens
Maximum resolution is 2688x1520 at up to 25 fps (50 Hz) or 30 fps (60 Hz), with main-stream bit rates up to 6 Mbps. The fixed 4 mm F1.6 lens gives a horizontal field of view of 80.4 degrees on hardware V1 (81 degrees on V1.20), and TP-Link publishes DORI distances of detect 80 m, observe 33 m, recognise 16 m and identify 8 m. True WDR at 120 dB keeps bright skies and shaded areas properly exposed in the same frame.
LightPro Night Vision With 50 m IR
Two 850 nm IR LEDs reach 50 m and two white LEDs reach 30 m. TP-Link's LightPro Night Vision keeps the camera on IR most of the night and switches the white light on when a person or vehicle is detected, capturing colour detail when it matters while reducing light pollution and energy use — relevant on solar-powered installations where every watt counts. Minimum illumination is 0.005 lux, or 0 lux with the illuminators on.
Active Defence, Two-Way Audio and Smart Detection
A built-in microphone (5 m radius) and speaker provide two-way audio, and alarm linkage includes audible warning and white-light flashing to deter intruders on unattended sites, as well as microSD recording, message push, FTP upload, alarm server and email. Motion detection is enhanced with human and vehicle classification, and smart events cover intrusion, line-crossing, region entering and exiting, object abandoned and removed, loitering, people and vehicle detection, abnormal sound and scene change.
Local microSD Recording in an IP66 Metal Housing
A built-in slot takes a microSD card up to 512 GB, so the camera records locally and only streams over 4G when viewed or when events are pushed, keeping mobile data use under control. The metal housing is rated IP66 and specified for -30 to 60 degrees C. Power is 12 V DC 1 A through a 5.5 mm coaxial plug, and a power adapter is included in the box.

Published Notes and Contradictions
Hardware versions: the datasheet covers V1.0 and V1.20, which differ in sensor size and field of view as shown above. It also describes a US variant with a different sensor and field of view and data-only SIM support; those US figures are not reproduced here.
DORI observe distance: the web page gives 33 m (109 ft) and the datasheet 33 m (108 ft); the metric figure agrees.
Certifications: the datasheet lists CE, CB, NCC, RCM, NTRA, KC, IP66, RoHS, ONVIF for the non-US version. The product web page instead lists WPS, WHQL, Energy Star, CE, NCC, NTRA, KC, RCM, ONVIF, IP66; WPS, WHQL and Energy Star are not normally camera certifications and that list is reproduced only as published.
The microSD card and Nano-SIM card are not included in the package. The camera has no PoE input; it is powered from the supplied 12 V DC adapter. Only the 4 mm lens is published for this model.

Does it need fixed broadband or a network cable?
No. Insert a Nano-SIM with a data plan and the camera connects over 4G Cat 4. The three LAN ports can share that connection with up to three other devices on site.
How is it powered?
From 12 V DC 1 A; a power adapter is included. It has no PoE input. TP-Link positions it for pairing with solar power systems where mains power is not available — ask us to quote a matching solar kit.
Where is footage stored?
