The InSight PTZ5425 is TP-Link's 5-inch 4MP speed dome for wide outdoor areas: a 5.2-130 mm motorised lens with 25X optical zoom, continuous 360 degree pan, presets reached at 240 degrees per second, and automatic tracking of people and vehicles. Red and blue warning lights, a siren-capable speaker and alarm I/O let one pole-mounted camera both watch and deter across a car park, perimeter, campus or industrial yard.

25X Optical Zoom From 57 Degrees Down to 2.3 Degrees

The motorised varifocal lens runs from 5.2 mm to 130 mm at a maximum aperture of F1.6, taking the horizontal field of view from 57.06 degrees at wide angle down to 2.30 degrees at full telephoto. TP-Link's published DORI figures show what that means on site: at wide angle the camera detects at 107 m and identifies at 11 m; at telephoto it detects at 2600 m, recognises at 520 m and identifies at 260 m. A 1/2.9 inch progressive scan CMOS sensor records up to 2688 x 1520.

360 Degree Pan, 240 Degree per Second Presets and Auto Tracking

The head pans a full 360 degrees and tilts from -23.6 to 97.8 degrees. Manual pan is configurable up to 160 degrees per second and tilt up to 120 degrees per second, while preset moves run at 240 and 200 degrees per second. The camera stores 300 presets, 8 patrols of up to 8 presets each and 32 pattern paths, with 3D positioning, park actions, power-up actions, scheduled tasks and power-off memory. Intelligent auto tracking follows a human, a vehicle or an event-triggered target, and manual tracking supports a joystick.

Full-Colour or IR Night Vision to 100 Metres

Two 850 nm IR LEDs reach 100 m and two integrated infrared-white LEDs provide white light to 50 m, with auto, scheduled, always-on and always-off control. Minimum illumination is 0.005 lux, or 0 lux with IR or white light. Image processing includes 120 dB wide dynamic range, BLC, 3D DNR, HLC, SmartIR, digital defog and electronic image stabilisation (EIS), so plates, faces and clothing stay usable at night, into headlights and on a pole that moves in the wind.

Smart Detection, Attribute Search and Active Deterrence

Smart events cover intrusion, line crossing, region entering and exiting, loitering, human and vehicle detection, abnormal sound and scene change. Motion detection is enhanced with human and vehicle classification for fewer false alerts, and people and vehicle attribute analytics let operators search recordings by attributes when used with VIGI's specified software. Alarm linkages include microSD recording, upload capture, alarm output, push notifications, alarm server, email, smart tracking, and active-defence sound and light alarms driven by the red and blue warning lights.

Built for Exposed Outdoor Poles

The metal housing is rated IP66 weatherproof and IK08 vandal-proof with 6 kV lightning protection, for -30 to 65 degrees C. Power is 802.3at PoE (Class 4, max 24.7 W) on a single 10/100 Mbps port or 12 V DC (max 21.6 W). Interfaces include 2 alarm in, 1 alarm out, 1 audio in, 1 audio out, RS-485 and a microSD slot of up to 512 GB, plus a built-in microphone and speaker for two-way audio. Streams are H.265+ on the main stream, with a third stream for additional viewing.
