PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link 6-Port 10/100Mbps Desktop Switch with 4-Port PoE+ (TL-SF1006P) - 5 Years Local Warranty
The TL-SF1006P is a compact six-port Fast Ethernet switch with 802.3at PoE+ on ports 1 to 4 and a 67 W budget — an unusually large allowance for a switch this size. At 158 mm wide and fanless, it powers four demanding cameras or access points from a shelf or a cupboard, with Extend and Priority buttons instead of a configuration screen.
67 W Across Four 802.3at PoE+ Ports
Ports 1 to 4 are IEEE 802.3af/at compliant against a 67 W system budget — nearly 17 W per port with all four loaded, which puts genuine 802.3at devices within reach rather than only 802.3af ones. PTZ domes, IR-illuminated cameras, video door stations and dual-band access points all fall inside that envelope. Ports 5 and 6 carry data only, so an NVR, a router or a workstation shares the same box.
Extend Mode on Ports 1-4 for Long Cable Runs
The Extend mode switch applies to ports 1 to 4 and carries power and data beyond the 100 m Ethernet limit at reduced throughput. It is the feature that lets a camera reach the far end of a car park deck, a barrier controller at a service entrance or a sensor in a detached store without a mid-span cabinet or a converter pair. Bandwidth is traded for distance, which is the correct trade for a camera or a reader and the wrong one for a workstation.
Priority Mode for the Two Most Important Ports
Priority mode covers ports 1 and 2, reserving forwarding capacity for whatever is patched there when the switch is congested. On a six-port segment that is usually the camera feeding the recorder or the handset at reception, and keeping it ahead of a bulk copy on a data port removes the most common cause of stuttering video or clipped audio. Both modes are hardware switch positions, so the behaviour survives power cuts and resets.
1.2 Gbps Non-Blocking Fabric, 2K MAC Table
All six ports are 10/100 Mbps with auto negotiation and auto MDI/MDIX on a 1.2 Gbps fabric at 892.8 Kpps — every port full duplex simultaneously with no oversubscription. The 2K MAC address table suits a small edge segment, 2 KB jumbo frame support handles slightly oversized payloads, and store-and-forward switching checks each frame before forwarding it, keeping corrupted frames off the rest of the network.
Small, Silent and Easy to Site
At 158 × 101 × 25 mm and fanless, the TL-SF1006P is the smallest PoE+ switch in this family and makes no noise at all — appropriate for a reception desk, a shop counter, a clinic or a meeting room rather than only a comms cupboard. The external 54 VDC / 1.3 A adapter keeps the mains side outside the enclosure. Draw is 1.9 W with nothing powered and 74 W with a full 67 W of powered devices attached.
Ideal For
Singapore shops, clinics, small offices and remote sites running up to four higher-draw 802.3at cameras or access points in a small footprint, and integrators needing one long cable run without extra hardware. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and project pricing on request.

Compatibility & Software Support
The TL-SF1006P is an unmanaged switch. Extend and Priority modes are hardware switch positions on the unit; there is no web interface, no CLI and no SNMP agent, and it cannot be adopted into an Omada SDN Controller or managed from the Omada app. Where VLANs, 802.1X or central monitoring are required, SourceIT can quote a JetStream smart or Omada-managed switch.
| Management | Unmanaged — hardware mode switches only |
| Omada SDN Controller | Not supported on this model |
| Powered Devices | Any IEEE 802.3af or 802.3at compliant PD on ports 1-4 |
| Data Ports | Ports 5-6, 10/100 Mbps RJ45, no PoE |
| Long-Reach Cabling | Extend mode on ports 1-4 at reduced throughput |

Frequently Asked Questions — TL-SF1006P
How does a six-port switch have a bigger PoE budget than an eight-port one?
Because the budget is set by the power supply and the PoE circuitry, not the port count. The TL-SF1006P ships with a 54 VDC / 1.3 A adapter and a 67 W allowance across four 802.3at ports, where the eight-port TL-SF1008LP allows 41 W and the TL-SF1008P 57 W, both 802.3af only. If your devices are 802.3at, the six-port model is usually the right choice.
How many cameras will 67 W run?
Four, in most installations. A fixed-dome 802.3af camera draws 4-8 W and an 802.3at PTZ dome 15-25 W, so a mixed set of four fits comfortably. Send SourceIT the camera model list and we will calculate the real load.
Are ports 5 and 6 PoE?
No. PoE+ is on ports 1 to 4 only; ports 5 and 6 are 10/100 Mbps data ports, normally used for the uplink and a recorder or router.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
