PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link 24-Port Gigabit Rackmount Switch (TL-SG1024) - 5 Years Local Warranty
The TL-SG1024 is a twenty-four port Gigabit unmanaged switch in a full-width 19-inch 1U chassis, built for offices that need a large block of wired ports and nothing to configure. A 48 Gbps fabric and an 8K MAC address table carry a full floor of endpoints, while a fanless design and a 13.6 W maximum draw keep the cabinet silent and cool.
Twenty-Four Gigabit Ports, No Configuration
All twenty-four RJ45 ports auto-negotiate 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps and support Auto MDI/MDIX, so straight and crossover cables both work and there is nothing to set. The switch is plug and play in the strict sense — no web interface, no console, no controller adoption. For a floor of desks, printers and access-point uplinks that simply need Gigabit connectivity, that removes an entire class of configuration error from the deployment.
48 Gbps Fabric With an 8K MAC Table
The 48 Gbps switching capacity is full wire speed across all twenty-four ports at full duplex simultaneously, and the 35.7 Mpps packet forwarding rate sustains line rate at minimum frame size. An 8K MAC address table is generous at this port count, so the switch copes with daisy-chained desk switches and access points carrying many wireless clients behind a single port. Jumbo frames up to 10 KB help NAS, imaging and backup traffic move efficiently.
Fanless in a Full 1U Rack Chassis
Twenty-four ports in a 440 x 180 x 44 mm chassis, and no fan anywhere in it. TP-Link publishes a maximum consumption of 13.6 W and heat dissipation of 46.4 BTU/h, low enough that active cooling is unnecessary. In a cabinet that sits in or near an occupied office, that means no noise at all, and it removes the one moving part most likely to fail during the switch's service life.
Green Technology and Store-and-Forward Switching
Green Technology reduces power on idle ports and short cable runs, contributing to the low overall draw. Store-and-forward switching validates each frame before it is forwarded, so corrupted frames are discarded at the switch rather than passed to the endpoint. 802.1p/DSCP QoS is supported on V11 and later hardware revisions, giving priority handling for voice and video where the upstream network marks traffic.
Ideal For
Singapore offices, schools and workshops that need a large, quiet block of unmanaged Gigabit ports in a rack — access-layer expansion, patch-panel build-outs and comms rooms where nothing needs to be managed or powered over Ethernet. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and project pricing on request.

Frequently Asked Questions — TL-SG1024
Does it supply PoE?
No. The TL-SG1024 has no PoE on any port. If cameras or access points need to be powered from the switch, ask us for the unmanaged PoE+ or JetStream equivalent.
Is it fanless at twenty-four ports?
Yes. TP-Link publishes a Fanless design with a maximum draw of 13.6 W, so there is no moving part and no noise — useful in a cabinet shared with an office or meeting room.
Can it be adopted into an Omada Controller?
No. It is unmanaged and has no management interface of any kind.
How does it differ from the TL-SG1024D?
Both are twenty-four port Gigabit unmanaged switches. The TL-SG1024 is a full-width 440 mm rackmount chassis; the TL-SG1024D is a 294 mm desktop/rackmount unit. Ask us if you are unsure which fits your cabinet.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
Five years local Singapore warranty, in line with TP-Link's replacement warranty policy for unmanaged Gigabit switches. Every unit sold by SourceIT comes with a GST invoice.
