Schneider OffGrid Portable Solar Panel 100W (PSP100) - Local Warranty

Schneider OffGrid Portable Solar Panel 100W — Monocrystalline, 23 Percent Efficient, IP65

The Schneider OffGrid PSP100 is a 100 W foldable monocrystalline solar panel built to charge the Schneider OffGrid portable power stations. Schneider publishes a conversion efficiency of 23 percent and an IP65 rating, and supplies it with a carrying bag and hanging loops for setting it up in the field.

It is the one accessory that changes what a portable power station is for. A station on its own is a battery with a fixed amount of energy in it; a station plus a panel is a supply that can keep a modest load running for as long as the daylight lasts.

Which Power Stations It Works With

Schneider confirms in its own support documentation that the PSP100 works with all three OffGrid power stations — the OffGrid 330, the OffGrid 500 and the OffGrid 730. The larger PSP200 is listed for the 500 and the 730 only.

The reason is in the stations’ DC input ratings. The 330 accepts up to 100 W; the 500 and 730 accept up to 200 W. A 100 W panel sits inside every one of those ceilings, which is what makes it the universal choice across the range.

What Schneider Publishes About the PSP100, and What It Does Not

The previous version of this page published an open-circuit voltage, a peak power voltage and current, an MC4 connector type and a note about MPPT controllers. Schneider publishes none of those figures, and the hedged ranges they were written as — “around 21 to 24 V” and the like — are the signature of numbers that were estimated, not sourced.

They have all been removed. In their place this listing carries the figures Schneider does publish, and says plainly where a specification is not available. If you need the electrical characteristics for a design or a third-party charge controller, ask us and we will request them from the distributor instead of guessing.

Solar Charging in Singapore

Singapore has strong irradiance and a great deal of cloud, often within the same hour, so a panel here rarely produces its rated figure for long. What it does do reliably is extend a station’s useful day: a router, a camera, lighting or a laptop trickle can run on daylight while the pack holds its charge for the evening. The IP65 rating means an unexpected shower is not a problem, though the power station it is connected to should stay dry.

SourceIT supplies the PSP100 with a GST invoice and local Singapore warranty support. See the warranty question in the FAQ below — Schneider publishes a two-year term for the power stations but does not publish one for this panel, and we will confirm it for you before you order.

Which power stations the PSP100 charges

Schneider’s own support documentation confirms the PSP100 for all three OffGrid power stations: the 330, the 500 and the 730. This is a manufacturer statement, not a reseller inference.

What a 100 W panel actually delivers

The 100 W figure is the rated peak under standard test conditions, which no real installation reproduces. In practice, output varies with the angle to the sun, cloud, haze, panel temperature and how clean the surface is. A sensible planning assumption is a useful fraction of the rating across a day, not the rating itself, and the station’s own display will tell you what it is actually receiving.

Connecting it

The panel is designed to plug into the DC input of an OffGrid power station, so no separate charge controller is needed for that use. Schneider does not publish the connector type or the cable length, so if you are planning to use the panel with a third-party device or to extend the run, ask us first and we will check what is on the lead before you commit.

What is not published

Open-circuit voltage, peak power voltage and current, folded and unfolded dimensions, weight and operating temperature range are all absent from Schneider’s published data, and the specification table above says so rather than carrying an invented figure. Ask us if you need any of them and we will request them from the distributor.

The Schneider OffGrid range at SourceIT

PSP100 (this listing) 100 W foldable monocrystalline panel, 23 percent efficient, IP65 — works with all three stations
PPS330-MS 332 Wh, 300 W portable power station — DC input capped at 100 W
PPS500-UK 517 Wh, 500 W portable power station — DC input up to 200 W
PPS730-UK 738 Wh, 700 W portable power station — DC input up to 200 W, USB-C at 100 W

Buying panel and station together

If you are specifying both at once, the station is the part that constrains the choice. Any of the three works with this panel. If you expect to add a second panel later, or to move to the 200 W PSP200, that decision points at the 500 or the 730, not the 330.

Datasheet & Downloads

Every specification on this page was read out of the documents above, and where a figure was not published we say so in the row instead of filling it with a plausible number. We do not link Schneider’s own download host directly: it redirects across domains and has repeatedly returned a different model’s document. If you need a data sheet or manual emailed as a PDF for a tender, ask us and we will send it.

Frequently Asked Questions — Schneider OffGrid PSP100

Which power stations does it work with?

All three — the OffGrid 330, the OffGrid 500 and the OffGrid 730. Schneider states this in its own support documentation. The larger PSP200 is listed for the 500 and the 730 only, because the 330’s DC input is capped at 100 W.

What is its open-circuit voltage, and does it use MC4 connectors?

Schneider does not publish either, and this listing no longer guesses. The previous version gave hedged ranges for open-circuit voltage, peak power voltage and current, and named MC4 connectors; none of that came from a Schneider source and all of it has been removed. If you need those characteristics for a third-party charge controller, ask us and we will request them from the distributor.

Do I need a charge controller?

Not for its intended use. The panel connects directly to the DC input of an OffGrid power station, and the station manages the charge. The reference to an MPPT controller on the previous version of this listing was unverified and has been removed.

How much charge will 100 W actually give me?

Less than the rating, and it varies. One hundred watts is the peak under standard test conditions; real output depends on the sun angle, cloud, haze, panel temperature and how clean the surface is. Singapore gives strong irradiance and a lot of passing cloud, so plan on a useful fraction of the rating across a day. The station’s display shows the input it is receiving in real time.

Can I leave it out in the rain?

The panel is rated IP65, so a shower will not harm it. The power station is not, so keep the station under cover and run the cable out to the panel, not the other way around.

How big is it folded, and what does it weigh?

Schneider does not publish either figure, so we do not state one. It is supplied foldable with a carrying bag and hanging loops, which is the extent of what the manufacturer says about its handling. If the packed size matters for your application, ask us — we will measure a unit if we have one in stock, and request the figure from the distributor if we do not.

Does it come with a local Singapore warranty?

Yes for the SourceIT local warranty and the GST invoice, which every Schneider OffGrid PSP100 we sell comes with. The manufacturer term is the open question. Schneider publishes a two-year term for the OffGrid power stations but does not publish a term for this panel, so instead of assuming the same figure applies, ask us before you order and we will have the distributor confirm the term in writing.
