Microsoft Windows 365 Enterprise 8 vCPU, 32 GB, 128 GB Subscription (12 Months)
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Microsoft Windows 365 Enterprise Cloud PC 8 vCPU / 32 GB RAM / 128 GB (CFQ7TTC0HHS9:0010) - Local Support
A Managed, Dedicated Windows Cloud PC at 8 vCPU / 32 GB RAM / 128 GB
Microsoft's own definition: "A Cloud PC is a highly available, optimized, and scalable virtual machine that gives end users a rich Windows desktop experience. The Windows 365 service hosts it, and you can access it from anywhere, on any device." And: "Each Cloud PC is assigned to an individual user and is their dedicated Windows device. Assigning a Cloud PC to a user is just like assigning an Exchange Online mailbox to a user." This listing is the 8 vCPU / 32 GB RAM / 128 GB configuration of Windows 365 Enterprise, the edition managed through Microsoft Intune with no cap on the number of users.
Microsoft's Published Use Cases for This Size
Microsoft publishes a recommended-workload note against each Cloud PC size. For 8 vCPU / 32 GB RAM / 128 GB it lists: Software developers, engineers, content creators, design and engineering workstations. Those are Microsoft's examples, not ours. Tell us what the users actually run and we will help you size it properly.
Managed Through Intune, With a Real Prerequisite List
Enterprise is the managed edition, and the prerequisites are the price of that. Microsoft states: "Each user must be licensed for Windows 10 or 11 Enterprise (when available), Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Entra ID P1." Those are per user and separate from the Windows 365 licence itself — the single biggest cost surprise on this product. It also needs "A valid and working Intune and Microsoft Entra tenant", Intune device type enrolment restrictions set to allow the Windows MDM platform for corporate enrolment, and an Intune Administrator or Windows 365 Administrator to provision.
An Azure Subscription Is Only Needed If You Bring Your Own Network
This one is commonly overstated, so here is the actual position. On the Microsoft Hosted Network, no Azure subscription is required. If you bring your own network you need an active Azure subscription with the Reader role on the subscription, the "Windows365 network interface contributor" role on the resource group and the "Windows365 network user" role on the virtual network. Microsoft Entra hybrid join is optional; if you use it, note that "Microsoft Entra Domain Services is not supported because it doesn't support Microsoft Entra hybrid join".
You Choose the Region — Singapore Maps to Southeast Asia
This is Enterprise's decisive advantage for a regulated buyer. Microsoft's supported-region table maps Singapore to the Southeast Asia region, and the provisioning policy lets an administrator select a geography and then "All default regions within the geography", "A single region group" or "A specific region", with the last option making sure "that your Cloud PCs are only provisioned in the region that you choose". Moving region later is possible but "does delete restore points from the previous region", so decide it up front.
Windows 365 Enterprise Cloud PC 8 vCPU / 32 GB RAM / 128 GB Datasheet — Licensing and Specifications
This Configuration
| Edition | Windows 365 Enterprise |
| Virtual CPUs | 8 vCPU |
| Memory | 32 GB RAM |
| Storage | 128 GB |
| Microsoft's example scenarios | Software developers, engineers, content creators, design and engineering workstations |
| Operating system | "Windows 10 Enterprise or Windows 11 Enterprise", per Microsoft's service description |
| Outbound data included per month | 70 GB. Microsoft's published table is keyed to RAM: 2 GB RAM = 12 GB, 4 GB or 8 GB RAM = 20 GB, 16 GB RAM = 40 GB, 32 GB RAM = 70 GB. "Data bandwidth may be restricted when exceeded" |
Licensing and Prerequisites
| Licensed by | Per user |
| User cap | "No user per tenant limit" |
| Required per user, separately | Windows 10 or 11 Enterprise; Microsoft Intune; Microsoft Entra ID P1 |
| Azure subscription | Not required on the Microsoft Hosted Network; required if you bring your own virtual network |
| Minimum purchase | Not published by Microsoft |
| Term | Twelve months as sold by SourceIT. Microsoft's own public pricing pages publish only a monthly, auto-renewing subscription |
Backup and Restore Points
| Short-term restore points | Interval selectable at 4, 6, 12, 16 or 24 hours, 10 retained |
| Long-term restore points | Every seven days, four retained, not configurable |
| Manual restore points | One per Cloud PC at a time, expiring after about 28 days if not overwritten. Administrator only |
What Happens When the Subscription Ends
| Expired | About 30 days. "Users have normal access to Windows 365 Cloud PCs and data." Admins can access it and a global or billing administrator can reactivate |
| Disabled | About 90 days. "Users can't access Windows 365 or its data." Customer data is accessible to admins only. Still reactivatable |
| Deleted | "All customer data is permanently deleted and unrecoverable" |
| Volume Licensing variation | Except for Microsoft Open, the two windows invert: Expired becomes 90 days and Disabled becomes 30 days. Microsoft qualifies the standard figures as applying "For most offers, in most countries and regions" |
| If you cancel early | The Cloud PC is deprovisioned immediately and the data within it is deleted immediately. The subscription skips Expired and moves straight to Disabled for 90 days. Tenant-level customer data "may be deleted after 90 days and will be deleted no later than 180 days after cancellation" |
What Microsoft Does Not Publish for This Product
The following are commonly asked about but are not stated on any current official Microsoft source for this product, so SourceIT does not quote them: a minimum seat count, any annual or twelve-month term on its public pricing pages, an uptime or service level figure for Windows 365 and a Windows 365 compared with Azure Virtual Desktop feature table. We would rather leave a field blank than print a figure we cannot substantiate.
Lifecycle, End of Support and Entitlement
SourceIT sells this as a twelve-month subscription with a GST invoice in Singapore. The subscription is a right to use the service for the term, not a perpetual licence: when the term ends the entitlement ends unless it is renewed.
Microsoft's own public Windows 365 pricing pages publish only a monthly, auto-renewing subscription — the twelve-month term is a partner purchasing construct, not a Microsoft-published retail term, and this page does not present it as one. Ask our team to confirm the commitment, renewal and mid-term change terms in writing with your quotation. Microsoft's lifecycle page places Windows 365 under the Modern Lifecycle Policy, with a start date of 2 August 2021 and a status of "In Support"; no retirement date is published. There is a second, shorter clock that catches people out, and it is separate from the subscription lifecycle. If a licence is unassigned from a user, or the user is removed from the provisioning policy while the subscription is still live, Microsoft moves that Cloud PC into a seven-day grace period: "the user can continue using the Cloud PC for seven days. After the seven-day grace period expires, the user is logged off the Cloud PC. They'll lose access and the Cloud PC will be deprovisioned." An administrator can end it early, and Microsoft's warning is blunt: "Ending the grace period is a destructive action. The Cloud PC, operating system, and user data are permanently deleted." Before you commit to a term, know what cancellation actually does. Microsoft publishes that on early cancellation the subscription "moves directly to Disabled stage (90 days)", the "Cloud PC is immediately deprovisioned" and "Data within the Cloud PC is deleted immediately". There is no thirty-day window and no seven-day grace on that path. Tenant-level customer data is retained for the 90-day Disabled window and "will be deleted no later than 180 days after cancellation". Back up anything that matters before you cancel, and talk to us first — there is usually a better-shaped answer than cancelling mid-term.
Talk to our team before the renewal date rather than after it. Seat counts, mid-term changes and co-terming with the rest of your Microsoft estate are all easier to arrange in advance, and we can quote the alternatives if a bundle would work out better for you.

Support and Entitlement Position
This is a software subscription, not hardware. It carries no hardware warranty, and any warranty term you see on a hardware listing does not apply here. What you are buying is a twelve-month right to use the service, together with SourceIT's local support in Singapore. Microsoft's own condition is that technical and billing support for a subscription bought through a partner runs through that partner, so for this subscription that means us: raise the ticket with SourceIT and we escalate to Microsoft where it needs to go. Renewal, seat changes and co-terming are handled on your SourceIT account. Ask our team for the current entitlement position in writing with your quotation.
Compatibility, Deployment and System Requirements
Budget for the prerequisites, not just the Cloud PC. Microsoft requires a Windows 10 or 11 Enterprise licence, a Microsoft Intune licence and Microsoft Entra ID P1 for every user, on top of the Windows 365 Enterprise licence. Many organisations already hold all three inside Microsoft 365 E3 or E5. Send us your current licence list and we will tell you what, if anything, still needs buying — that check takes us minutes and it is the difference between an accurate quotation and an unpleasant one.
Network egress is billed differently from Business, and it is worth knowing before a data-heavy workload lands on it. Microsoft: when you provide the network, traffic "goes through customer's Azure VNet and isn't included in license. Azure bandwidth pricing applies." On the Microsoft-hosted network the same published allowance table as Business applies, and that table publishes no figure at 64 GB RAM or above. If you are bringing your own virtual network, egress becomes an Azure line item.
Restore points are configurable on Enterprise, unlike Business. Short-term intervals can be set to 4, 6, 12, 16 or 24 hours with 10 retained — Microsoft's example: "If you choose 4-hour intervals, each assigned Cloud PC has 10 restore points spread over the last 40 hours." Long-term points are every seven days with four retained and are not configurable, and an administrator can take one manual restore point per Cloud PC at a time, expiring after about 28 days if not overwritten.

Frequently Asked Questions — Windows 365 Enterprise Cloud PC 8 vCPU / 32 GB RAM / 128 GB
What do we need to have before we can use this?
Microsoft's requirement, per user: "Each user must be licensed for Windows 10 or 11 Enterprise (when available), Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Entra ID P1." Plus a working Intune and Microsoft Entra tenant, Intune enrolment restrictions allowing the Windows MDM platform for corporate enrolment, and an Intune Administrator or Windows 365 Administrator to provision. Most organisations on Microsoft 365 E3 or E5 already hold all three — send us your licence list and we will confirm.
Do we need an Azure subscription?
Only if you bring your own network. On the Microsoft Hosted Network, no Azure subscription is required at all. If you use your own virtual network you need an active Azure subscription with the Reader role on it, plus the "Windows365 network interface contributor" role on the resource group and the "Windows365 network user" role on the virtual network.
Can we keep our Cloud PCs in Singapore?
Yes, on Enterprise. Microsoft's supported-region table maps Singapore to the Southeast Asia region, and the provisioning policy lets you choose "A specific region", which "makes sure that your Cloud PCs are only provisioned in the region that you choose". Note that changing region later "does delete restore points from the previous region", so set it correctly at the start. Windows 365 Business has no region selector at all.
How is this different from Windows 365 Business?
Business has no licensing prerequisites, no Azure or Active Directory dependency and automatic provisioning, but is capped at 300 users per tenant, offers no region selection, and lists policy management, monitoring, troubleshooting, security baselines and Universal Print as not supported. Enterprise has no user cap, is managed through Microsoft Intune with full policy, monitoring and troubleshooting, supports custom images and hybrid join, and lets you choose the region — at the cost of the per-user Windows Enterprise, Intune and Entra ID P1 prerequisites.
What happens to the Cloud PC if a licence is unassigned, or if we cancel?
Two different clocks. Unassigning a licence starts a seven-day grace period: "the user can continue using the Cloud PC for seven days", after which "the Cloud PC will be deprovisioned". Cancelling the subscription early is harsher — the "Cloud PC is immediately deprovisioned" and "Data within the Cloud PC is deleted immediately", with the subscription moving straight to a 90-day Disabled stage. Back up first and talk to us before cancelling.
