PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Microsoft 365 E3 (CFQ7TTC0LFLX:0001) - Local Support

This Is a 12 Month Subscription, Licensed Per User

Full desktop Office apps, a 100 GB mailbox and Windows 11 Enterprise E3, for information workers. Microsoft licenses it per user, on an annual commitment, and this listing is the 12 month term. It is not a one-time purchase and there is no perpetual version of it: when the term ends, so does the entitlement, on the schedule set out below.

Full desktop installs. Microsoft's E3 page lists “desktop, web, and mobile versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other apps”, together with OneNote, Access (PC only), Loop and Clipchamp.

Confirm your user count with us before you order. Microsoft's plan-options service description lists these plans under “unlimited users” and publishes no minimum seat count — so do not let anyone tell you there is one.

Microsoft Teams Is Included in This SKU

This is the Teams-bearing version of the plan. We also list a (no Teams) variant at a lower price, for organisations that run a different collaboration platform or license Teams separately.

Worth knowing why two variants exist. Microsoft unbundled Teams from the enterprise suites with effect from 1 April 2024, outside the EEA and Switzerland — Singapore is in that worldwide set — and for a period the Teams-inclusive suites were withdrawn from sale. Microsoft reversed that on 1 November 2025, stating that suites including Teams “are once again available to all customers, new and existing”, and cut the prices of the no-Teams suites at the same time.

So if a supplier tells you that you must buy a (no Teams) suite plus a separate Teams Enterprise licence, that advice is out of date.

Choosing Between E3, E5 and E7

The application and mailbox entitlements are identical across E3, E5 and E7: full desktop Office, 5 PCs or Macs plus 5 tablets plus 5 mobile devices per user, a 100 GB mailbox with a 1.5 TB auto-expanding archive. What you are buying as you move up the tiers is security, compliance and AI, not productivity apps.

E3 gives you Entra ID Plan 1, Windows 11 Enterprise E3, Plan 1 Defender for Endpoint and Office 365, and the Standard tiers of Purview audit and eDiscovery. E5 moves to Entra ID Plan 2, Windows 11 Enterprise E5, Plan 2 Defender across Endpoint and Office 365 plus Defender for Identity and Defender for Cloud Apps, Premium audit and eDiscovery, Insider Risk Management, Communication Compliance and Power BI Pro. E7 is E5 plus Microsoft 365 Copilot, the Microsoft Entra Suite and Agent 365.

The Copilot arithmetic is worth doing before you decide. Microsoft prices the Copilot add-on for E3 and E5 at US$30.00 per user per month paid yearly, and states that “E7 includes Microsoft Copilot natively. There is no add-on required.” If Copilot is on your roadmap, compare E5 plus the add-on against E7 directly rather than tier by tier.

Ask us to model it against your actual seat count. We will show the working.

Buying Through SourceIT in Singapore

Microsoft's published list price for this plan is US$39.00 per user per month on an annual commitment paid yearly, captured on 8 September 2026. Microsoft publishes no Singapore-dollar list price for these plans — its Singapore pages show US dollars annotated “Price does not include GST.” Any Singapore-dollar figure on this listing is SourceIT pricing, and we quote it with a GST invoice.

There is a reason to buy through a partner beyond the paperwork. Microsoft's own support documentation states: “You must have at least one subscription bought through Microsoft to access Microsoft support. If you bought all your subscriptions through a partner, contact your partner for support.” Buy from us and we are your first line of support — that is Microsoft's design, and it is what our local team is for.

This is a subscription licence, not hardware, so it carries no hardware warranty. Supplied by SourceIT in Singapore with a GST invoice and local support. For a written quotation, current stock position or delivery lead time, contact our team.

What Microsoft Does Not Publish for This Plan

We leave these blank rather than fill them: a Singapore-dollar list price; any seat minimum or maximum; an end-of-support date; and a per-plan Viva Engage entitlement, which Microsoft publishes for the frontline plans but not for the E plans. We would rather leave a field blank than print a figure we cannot substantiate.

Subscription Term, Expiry, Lifecycle and Support

This is a subscription, and it ends. The 12 month term is the entitlement. Microsoft publishes what happens when a business or enterprise subscription is not renewed, and it is worth reading before you plan a renewal date.

Active Data accessible to all. Users have normal access to Microsoft 365, files and apps
Expired — about 30 days Data still accessible to all. Users keep normal access. Global or billing administrators can reactivate from the admin centre
Disabled — about 90 days Data accessible to administrators only. Users lose access; apps move to read-only reduced functionality mode and show Unlicensed Product notifications. Administrators can reach the admin centre but cannot assign licences. Still reactivatable
Deleted Data is deleted and the Microsoft Entra ID directory is removed if no other service is using it. Cannot be reactivated
Data retention Microsoft: “Any customer data left behind during the Disabled status might be deleted after 90 days and will be deleted no later than 180 days after cancellation.”

Explicit cancellation skips the staged path and goes to data removal directly. We track your renewal dates for you precisely so that this sequence never starts.

Lifecycle

Microsoft 365 sits under the Modern Lifecycle Policy, with a support start date of 22 September 2015 and a retirement status Microsoft publishes as “In Support”. Microsoft publishes no end-of-support date for it. We say that rather than calling it evergreen, because a Modern Lifecycle product can be retired on notice — the point is that no date exists.

Support

Microsoft includes online support through the admin centre and phone support in most countries and regions — billing support during business hours, Monday to Friday, and technical support around the clock. But read Microsoft's own condition carefully: “You must have at least one subscription bought through Microsoft to access Microsoft support. If you bought all your subscriptions through a partner, contact your partner for support.” If you buy this subscription from us, we are your first line of support, and that is by Microsoft's design rather than ours.

Support and Warranty Position

A subscription licence carries no hardware warranty. SourceIT supplies this subscription with local Singapore support and a GST invoice. No warranty term is quoted or implied.

How E3, E5 and E7 Compare, and the Teams Variants

The applications and the mailbox are the same on all three enterprise plans. What you buy as you move up is security, compliance and AI.

Office applications, devices, mailbox Identical on E3, E5 and E7: full desktop Office, 5 PCs or Macs plus 5 tablets plus 5 mobile devices per user, 100 GB mailbox with a 1.5 TB auto-expanding archive
Windows E3: Windows 11 Enterprise E3 — E5 and E7: Windows 11 Enterprise E5
Microsoft Entra ID E3: Plan 1 — E5: Plan 2 — E7: Plan 2 plus the Microsoft Entra Suite
Defender E3: Plan 1 for Endpoint and Office 365 — E5 and E7: Plan 2 for both, plus Defender for Identity and Defender for Cloud Apps
Microsoft Purview E3: Audit (Standard), eDiscovery (Standard), manual sensitivity labelling — E5 and E7: Audit (Premium), eDiscovery (Premium), automatic labelling, Endpoint DLP, Insider Risk Management, Communication Compliance
Power BI Pro E3: not included — E5 and E7: included
Microsoft 365 Copilot E3 and E5: a paid add-on at US$30.00 per user per month paid yearly — E7: included natively, no add-on required
Agent 365 E7 only
Voice E3: Audio Conferencing available as a no-cost add-on, no Teams Phone — E5 and E7: Audio Conferencing and Teams Phone, marked by Microsoft “Included in Teams versions”
Microsoft published list price E3 US$39.00, E5 US$60.00, E7 US$99.00 per user per month, annual commitment paid yearly. No-Teams variants US$30.45, US$51.45 and US$90.45 — captured 8 September 2026

A Note on Intune, Where Microsoft's Own Pages Disagree

Microsoft's Intune pricing page states that Intune Plan 1 is included with “Microsoft 365 E3, E5, F1, and F3, Enterprise Mobility + Security E3 and E5, and Business Premium plans”, and that Plan 2 is “an add-on to Microsoft Intune Plan 1”. The enterprise pricing page agrees. The E3 and E5 product pages describe richer Intune capabilities. We publish the narrower reading — Intune Plan 1 included, Plan 2 and the Intune Suite as add-ons — because two of the four pages say so explicitly and the Intune product page is the authority on its own packaging. If Intune Suite capabilities matter to you, price them separately with us rather than assuming they are in the bundle.

Microsoft Publisher Is No Longer Included

Microsoft Publisher has been retired and is no longer part of any Microsoft 365 plan. Subscriber access ends 1 October 2026 and support for the perpetual version ends 13 October 2026. Older third-party descriptions of these plans list Publisher as an included application. It is not one.

Microsoft Teams and the Two Variants

The current position, and it has changed. Microsoft unbundled Teams from the Microsoft 365 and Office 365 enterprise suites with effect from 1 April 2024, outside the European Economic Area and Switzerland — and Singapore falls in that worldwide set. For a period, customers who wanted Teams had to buy a (no Teams) suite plus a separate Microsoft Teams Enterprise licence.

That requirement was lifted on 1 November 2025. Microsoft's licensing announcement states: “Microsoft 365 and Office 365 Enterprise suites that include Teams are once again available to all customers, new and existing.” At the same time Microsoft reduced prices on the suites without Teams and raised the price of the standalone Teams Enterprise licence. Both routes are open to Singapore customers — nobody is forced down either one.

What differs between the two variants. Only Teams is removed; every other entitlement is identical. One caveat worth stating plainly, because Microsoft's own comparison tables show it: on the E5 and E7 plans, Audio Conferencing and Teams Phone are Teams-dependent and Microsoft marks them “Included in Teams versions”. So the suites are equivalent on paper but not functionally identical in that respect.

Frequently Asked Questions — Microsoft 365 E3

Is this a one-time purchase?

No. This is a subscription with a 12 month term, licensed per user on an annual commitment. There is no perpetual version of a Microsoft 365 plan.

What happens if we do not renew?

Microsoft publishes a staged path: the subscription is Expired for about 30 days with normal user access, then Disabled for about 90 days during which only administrators can reach the data and apps show “Unlicensed Product”, then Deleted, which cannot be reversed. Microsoft states that data “will be deleted no later than 180 days after cancellation”. We track your renewal date so it never gets there.

Does it include the desktop Office applications?

Yes. This plan includes full desktop installs of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote, on up to 5 PCs or Macs, 5 tablets and 5 mobile devices per user.

How much mailbox storage does each user get?

A 100 GB primary mailbox with a 1.5 TB auto-expanding archive. Microsoft adds storage to the archive incrementally from an initial 100 GB as it fills.

Does this SKU include Microsoft Teams?

Yes. We also list a (no Teams) variant at a lower price for organisations that license Teams separately.

Do we have to buy the no-Teams version and add Teams separately?

Not any more. That was the position from 1 April 2024, but Microsoft reversed it on 1 November 2025: suites including Teams “are once again available to all customers, new and existing”. Both routes are open.

Is there a minimum number of seats?

Microsoft publishes none. Its plan-options service description lists these plans under “unlimited users”. Anyone quoting you a minimum is quoting their own commercial terms, not Microsoft's.

Is Microsoft Publisher included?

No. Publisher has been retired: subscriber access ends 1 October 2026 and support for the perpetual version ends 13 October 2026. Older third-party descriptions of this plan list it; that is out of date.

When does support for Microsoft 365 end?

There is no published end date. Microsoft 365 is under the Modern Lifecycle Policy with a retirement status of “In Support”.

Who supports us if something breaks?

We do, first. Microsoft's own documentation states: “If you bought all your subscriptions through a partner, contact your partner for support.” That is what our Singapore team is for.

Is there a warranty?

Not a hardware warranty — this is a subscription licence and no such warranty exists. SourceIT provides local Singapore support and a GST invoice.
