PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Microsoft 365 Business Premium (CFQ7TTC0LCHC:0002) - Local Support

What Microsoft 365 Business Premium actually is

Microsoft 365 Business Premium is a Microsoft 365 subscription licensed per user, sold here on a 12-month term. It gives each user the installable desktop applications as well as the web and mobile versions. Microsoft publishes the plan for organisations of 1 to 300 employees. Because this is a subscription and not a perpetual licence, the software and services stop working when the term ends; that is the single most important thing to understand before you buy, and it is why this page says so more than once.

What each user gets

Applications: Desktop, web and mobile versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Mailbox: 100 GB primary and 1.5 TB archive per user on Microsoft's plan comparison page. Microsoft's Exchange Online service description describes the archive as starting at 100 GB with auto-expanding archiving adding storage incrementally up to 1.5 TB including Recoverable Items. Microsoft's Exchange Online service description still publishes 50 GB as the primary mailbox size for this plan — see the licensing note. Cloud storage: 1 TB per user. Microsoft Teams is included in this plan. Devices: Up to 5 PCs or Macs, 5 tablets and 5 mobile devices per user

Support, lifecycle and what happens at renewal

Microsoft includes online and telephone support for administrators with the subscription at no extra charge, with technical phone support in English 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and billing support 9 AM to 5 PM Monday to Friday. Microsoft's own condition is that this applies to subscriptions bought directly from Microsoft; where a subscription is bought through a partner, Microsoft directs support through that partner. Buy this licence from SourceIT and we are that partner, so raise tickets with us and we escalate to Microsoft on your behalf. Microsoft 365 is governed by the Modern Lifecycle Policy. Its lifecycle entry has a start date of 22 September 2015 and its retirement date is published as "In Support" — that is, Microsoft publishes no end-of-support date for the service. That is not the same as a promise of permanent support; under the Modern Lifecycle Policy Microsoft may retire a service with notice. We print what Microsoft publishes rather than calling the service evergreen.

Licensing note. This is a software subscription, not hardware, and the rules that govern it are Microsoft's. Every figure on this page comes from a Microsoft page linked in the Documentation section below, and where Microsoft's own sources disagree we print both readings rather than quietly picking one. Microsoft's own two sources disagree on the mailbox size, so this page prints both. The Microsoft 365 business plan comparison page publishes 100 GB of primary mailbox storage per user; the Exchange Online service description still publishes 50 GB for this plan. Microsoft publishes both figures and does not reconcile them. If mailbox size is material to your purchase, ask us to confirm it against your tenant before you order rather than relying on either figure. A subscription licence carries no hardware warranty of any kind. Nothing on this page is licensing-compliance advice; licensing decisions carry audit consequences, so for anything beyond a straightforward deployment please talk to us.

Microsoft 365 Business Premium — What the Licence Includes

Microsoft's licensing name for this plan Microsoft 365 Business Premium
Name on Microsoft's current storefront Microsoft's current business plan comparison page publishes the mid and top tiers as "Microsoft 365 Business Standard with Copilot" and "Microsoft 365 Business Premium with Copilot", while Microsoft Learn continues to use the un-suffixed licensing names. Prerequisites, Fit and What This Plan Is Not

Before you order

Who this plan is for Organisations of 1 to 300 employees. Microsoft publishes a seat cap on the Business family; above it, the Enterprise plans are the route.
Do users need Windows? No. Microsoft publishes the desktop applications for both PC and Mac under the plans that include them, and the web and mobile applications run on any supported browser or mobile device.
Existing email Moving an existing mailbox or domain into Microsoft 365 is a migration project, not an automatic consequence of buying a licence. Ask us to scope it before you order if you are moving from another provider.
Teams Included.
Perpetual alternatives If what you actually want is a one-time purchase, the perpetual products — Office LTSC 2024, Office Home and Business 2024 — are separate listings. They include no cloud services, no mailbox and no OneDrive storage, and they are tied to one device.
Mixing plans in one tenant Different users in the same tenant can hold different Microsoft 365 plans. You do not have to put every user on the same tier.
Ordering, Term and Renewal

This listing is a 12-month subscription licensed per user. Quantity on the order is the number of user licences, not the number of devices.

SKU on this listing CFQ7TTC0LCHC:0002
Term 12 months
Licensing basis Per user
Price basis Per user for the 12-month term, in Singapore dollars
Renewal We will contact you before the term ends. Renewal is not automatic on our side; nothing lapses without you hearing from us first.
Adding seats mid-term Seats can be added during the term and are co-terminated with the existing subscription. Ask us to quote the pro-rated amount.
Reducing seats Seat reductions generally take effect at the anniversary rather than mid-term. Tell us before renewal if your headcount has changed.

Frequently Asked Questions — Microsoft 365 Business Premium

Does this include the installable desktop Office applications?

Yes. Microsoft publishes desktop, web and mobile versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook for this plan, installable on up to 5 PCs or Macs, 5 tablets and 5 mobile devices per user. Publisher is not included: Microsoft has retired it, with subscriber access ending 1 October 2026.

How big is the mailbox?

Microsoft publishes two figures and does not reconcile them: 100 GB primary per user on the Microsoft 365 business plan comparison page, and 50 GB per user on the Exchange Online service description. Ask us to confirm the figure against your tenant before you order if mailbox size is material to the purchase. The licensing note above sets this out in full.

Is Microsoft Teams included?

Yes, this is the Teams-inclusive version of the plan. Microsoft also sells a "no Teams" version of the same suite, which we list separately — check which one you are ordering.

What does Premium add over Standard?

Security and device management. Microsoft's licensing service plan reference lists Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID P1, Azure Multi-Factor Authentication, Microsoft Defender for Business, Cloud App Security Discovery, Data Loss Prevention, Information Barriers and Information Governance under the Business Premium SKU, and Microsoft's plan options table shows Azure Information Protection for Premium only. The productivity applications themselves are the same as Standard. One caution: Microsoft Defender for Office 365 Plan 1 is often claimed for this plan by third parties. Microsoft's own published component list for this plan does not name it, so this page does not claim it either.

Is this a one-time purchase?

No. Microsoft 365 Business Premium is a subscription with a 12-month term on this listing. When the term ends the licence stops working. If you want a one-time purchase that keeps working, that is a perpetual licence such as Office LTSC or Office Home and Business, which we sell separately — they are different products with different rights, and they do not include the cloud services on this page.

Does it come with a warranty?

This is a software subscription licence, not hardware. It carries no hardware warranty, no return-to-base service and no replacement entitlement, because there is no hardware to replace. What it carries instead is Microsoft's service support for administrators and our own local support in Singapore.

What happens if we do not renew?

Microsoft publishes a four-stage path for a business subscription that is not renewed: Active, then Expired for about 30 days during which users keep normal access to Microsoft 365, their files and their apps, then Disabled for about 90 days during which the apps show "Unlicensed Product" notifications and go read-only and only administrators can reach the data, and finally Deleted, at which point the data is deleted and the subscription cannot be reactivated. Deleting a subscription outright skips the Expired and Disabled stages and removes SharePoint and OneDrive content immediately.

Who do we call for support?

Us. Microsoft's condition on the administrator support it includes at no extra charge — technical phone support in English 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and billing support 9 AM to 5 PM Monday to Friday — is that it applies to subscriptions bought directly from Microsoft, and Microsoft directs a partner-bought subscription through that partner. On this licence that partner is SourceIT, so raise tickets with us and we escalate to Microsoft on your behalf. The full wording is under the support heading above.

This page was rewritten — what changed?

We rebuilt this listing from Microsoft's own published plan comparison, service descriptions and lifecycle pages, and removed material the previous copy could not support. Specifically: indicative US dollar per-user prices and invented price ranges were removed, because this is a Singapore dollar listing and those figures were neither current nor Microsoft's Singapore prices; Publisher was removed from every application list, because Microsoft has retired it; and editor artefacts left in the HTML — stray tracking attributes, empty elements and leftover styling spans — were stripped. Where Microsoft's own sources disagree, this page now prints both readings instead of silently picking one.
